This is a clip from 1993 on malmabanan in Västerås, Sweden where a Gp in the motocross biggest class the 500cc was held. Back in 1993 they drowe 3 heats that was 25 minutes + 2 laps each. Back in the day they where riding 500cc twostroke monster bikes that are much more powerful than todays 450 four strokes. This is a clip from the Swedish chanel 1 with Swedish comentators. Enjoy!
Detta är ett klipp från malmabanan i västerås där en deltävling i motocrossens största klass 500cc avgjordes. På den här tiden kördes dom 3 heat på 25minuter + 2 varv. Brutalare hojar än 500cc tvåtakt är svårt att hitta. Dessa hojar får dagens 450cc fyrtakt att verka klena.
The 1993 World Championship 500cc class Jacky Martens won on a Husqvarna 4 Stroke. He was the first person to win it on a 4 stroke since 1965. He was the only one riding a 4 stroke and there were 33 total CR500s in the mix, over 60% of the riders were on the CR500 and he was the only one on a Husqvarna.
