Would you be able to shoot broadheads through it? Can you demonstrate that? What is the draw poundage on the Slingbow as is and how much more power can you get out of it, if you were to trim the bands? Great video - looks like a whole lotta fun. Thanks.

Yes but this sling bow is cheap and not a good design. Better to make your own
We carried sling bows when we hiked up in the mountains of Southern California... A slingshot with black bands, a couple of rubber bands or 4 zip ties, a large key ring and breakdowns arrows....

Wow this is a cool device thanks for sharing. Being a novice I am thinking of incorporating a Red Dot Laser. XD
I have seen but never tried a sling bow . Have 2 compound bows and have fletched nocked and tiped , but have never made shafts , that would be cool . But i have also seen what happens when an arrow fails on start up . That person did 4 1/2 hours in surgery. Great episode thank you my friend.

I been looking for a good sling bow. I'm gonna give them a try I like the way it looks . the fact that the you can use it as a slingshot too is a plus iny book.
I have one of the Axion single pin bow sights and am happy with it.
I personally think the slingbow asking price is a little steep when you could carve out some wood to fit your hand perfectly, but with the same wide "Y"...carve a groove into the center and put a whisker biscuit in there...
Last thing ya need is some tire tube strips and zip ties..
That being said their bow sights are good quality and affordable.
Oh yea don't forget to carve into your handle and create a pez dispenser if ya choose=).

It needs to come in black and also it needs a small red beem like some other slings.
Owned a black widow for 40yrs . Never take it out......replaced the bands this year ....cant be too carefull....blessings for the share........wheresdatwabbit...
I have the simpleshot hammer bow system. As soon as our Omega Slings 1mm, thick bands come in. I plan on doing a video with it I hope.

I would expect the ammo to rattle when fired. I gave one as a pressent and it was noisy!
Yeah, the ammo inside makes noise for sure. Figured some would not like that.

Been fabbing those for a few yrs ,whisker buscuit & wrist rocket slingshot , i to this day cant hit with a slingshot ,i use an arrow im on target.

I wonder how trajectory speed (therefore power) compares to a limbed bow? What kind of range can you STRETCH out of this thing?
These pants come pretty long. I didn’t trim them, but I’m probably going to do a follow up video on trimming these bands way back to see the power it gets. It’s going to hit pretty hard I can imagine.

I had a 75 lb. Cross bow and didn’t need a license to buy them back then but my x boyfriend stole it from me when we split up. He lives X country (3,000) or so miles away. I’m really upset about that one 😡

Not sure about the arrows, but if the bands were trimmed it could end something
Making your own arrows isnt that hard. Im sure you can do it. I would personally recommend starting with wooden dowls or bamboo at 1st. It'll make it a lot easier to get started but if you want to shape your own shafts it helps to have a good hawkbill blade, a piece of straight angle iron & a piece of metal or wood with the correct diameter holes drilled in it. That way you can easily check your work as you go (I learned the hard way to make small adjustments & to check a lot lol). I've been making medieval style arrows lately & they have tapered shafts....frustrating af. Lol

How do you trim the band?
It’s good measure your draw length from the corner of your mouth to the very end of the arm and then divide by five. I have a drawl length of 30 so that would be cutting the bands to 6 inches on each side, but I never cut them quite that short.
Can a slingbow shoot arrows and pebbles a the same time
Not at the very same time, but I can shoot both
