  • Since childhood, I remember how my grandmother always had a couple of bottles of glycerin in her medicine cabinet. She didn’t understand why she needed so much. As I grew up, I began to buy a supply of them myself. I use glycerin not only for cosmetic purposes, but also in everyday life. It is an excellent replacement for chemical cleaners. Do you also want to save your family budget and find useful tips for yourself that you can take note of? Then these tips are definitely for you!
Our hands always need hydration, especially in winter and summer, when most of the time we are in the sun and digging in the garden. For a moisturizing hand mask, I needed 2 tsp. honey, 2 tsp. glycerin and 2 tsp. vitamin E. I mix it all in a bowl.
I apply a few teaspoons to my hands and rub in thoroughly. I leave this mask on my hands for 20 minutes.
I wash off the excess mask with warm water and apply a thick hand cream to consolidate the result. Now my hands are as moisturized as possible, there are no rough spots, the skin is like a baby’s!
Not only our skin needs to be moisturized, but also leather clothes. I apply a couple of drops of glycerin to a cotton pad and wipe the skin. I especially carefully go through those areas of the skin where there are creases (so that the skin is moisturized and does not crack).
My equipment is always clean and shiny because I rub it with glycerin. I put a couple of drops of glycerin on a napkin and polish the surface of the laptop. A layer of dust does not appear on the laptop so quickly and fingerprints do not remain. Well, just beauty!
I don't shy away from wooden furniture either. I only need to wipe the surface with glycerin once a month. Well, it shines like new. I put quite a few drops of glycerin on a damp cloth and distribute it evenly on the table.
And my neighbor shared this method with me. It turns out that she also always keeps a couple of bottles of glycerin in her medicine cabinet.
In a bowl I mix 30 ml of glycerin and 2 tsp. ammonia (ammonia). I stir vigorously.
I apply a little mixture onto a dry cloth and spread it over the window. I take a second dry fiber and polish it until the streaks disappear. Yes, this is not a quick process, but it’s worth it. The windows do not fog up and remain clean for a long time! Take note.
