- Top gamekeeper Geoff Garrod is joined by his son Josh on a pheasant day, but this time on the other side of the line as they team up with some friends to take on the driven quarry.
Numbers are low, but the squad of guns manage to bag their fair share, which goes to show that even when nothing goes to plan, you can still hit the high birds when you put Eley Hawk cartridges in the right place.

hi what is the maximum range that u can kill the pheasant with a 20 gauge im also looking to buy one but im a bit worried bcs of the range i can kill the bird

ShaunyTheFauny fauny I have a yildiz side by side 20 gauge and I use 3 inch 36 gram no 4 shot and I can drop duck at 80 and 90 yards but them loads are hard to get here in Ireland hope that helps

I would guess mainly that it is because that Holland and Holland as well as Purdey guns costs tens of thousands of pounds at a minimum. While Browning and Beretta do some decent shooting guns for couple of grand.
