The trouble with crows and Magpies is they are doing unnaturally well due to road kill, and when that is scarce they mob the song birds who are already hammered by pesticides and monoculture. We are loused out with Jackdaws and Carrion Crows in my area. Hardly any song birds though... Cheers Wild Justice 😘

Had that same theory for years...before the glut of road kill carcases a lot of crows and magpies wouldn't survive the winter but now there's an unnaturally high population that survives till Springtime when they start predating on eggs and chicks. Packham would say it's the balance of nature 🙄

Unfortunately it's not really about modernizing, it's about making it all impossible until it all goes under. The goal is to have everyone in smart cities and the countryside will be out of bounds for the public.

    Actual gamekeeping.
Gamekeepers take out all the Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and owls from these estates so the animals and birds they call vermin have no natural predators, so obviously foxes, squirrels, crows and magpies do well (these would be taken by Eagles and Goshawks, peregrines and buzzards, the smaller vermin would be taken by Hawks, Falcons and Owls, its all an excuse to kill everything on site to protect the Pheasants, Grouse, Partridge and Quails so the nobs can have a goods day's (expensive) shoot.
Thease people make it look like they are doing a good job for conservation, but in reality, it's all bullshit.
Let's kill everything on the estate, including protected birds of prey, so we have more grouse and pheasants to shoot.
There is plenty of footage on TH-cam showing the actual truth about gamekeepers, especially with White tailed sea eagles, Golden eagles, Hen Harriers and short eared owls(being stamped on).
This man buzzing he's got blue tits on his feeders and he feels he is responsible for that.😂

As an Air Force brat I use to play with the gamekeepers son at Raynham Hall in Norfolk. And sometimes we got to tag along and help "Jack" with his duties. I absolutely loved it!

Absolutely superb report by Geoff Garrod on modern keepering. If only we could get it on mainstream TV.

Before human interference nature controlled itself, so what's changed. Genuine question.

That’s the thing - keep it legal -there’s so much pressure on shooting we don’t need bad practice.Corvids & foxes are the worst that need zero tolerance.Netting over release pens & puttin poults out when there 8 weeks plus keeps most of the raptors at bay.

Nature takes care of itself. What do you think will happen when the human race has wiped itself out. Do you think nature will end too?
