It is actually a well-visited place in KL but most of malaysian in KL during this time went to their village to celebrate eid (muslim festival after ramadhan) i guess that's why that place seems to be so quiet and empty
Really cool to see underrated attraction in KL being featured. At 4:58, you can see an over 100-years old traditional house known as "Rumah Degil" or "Stubborn House". It was the only traditional house survived in Chow Kit area before being relocated to National Art Gallery's compound.
@@Reardon_Explores indeed.. TBH, i already tired seeing the same places in KL being featured on UTUBE.. would love to see more historical sites such as the museums, monuments and memorials.
@8:40 RM2.00 for that bottle of drinking water is slightly more than usual, but then it's the park. You don't get that many shop in a park. Maybe the rental there is higher than the normal street. RM1.50 is probably acceptable I would think.
"Jumpa lagi" @ "See you again" Malaysian always happy to see you come back here. Enjoy your teh tarik, nasi lemak, roti canai and the rest of the country. 😊
Thank u for this wonderful video. Thanks for all your vlogs in Malaysia. Hope that u have had a good time in KL, Malaysia, n hope that you'll come back again in d future.
D Titiwangsa Lake garden is quite beautiful, but not many tourists, even locals visit d garden. I used to live very close to this garden, about 5 minutes walk from my previous apt next to UTC with a hawkers centre n close by d Sentul LRT station, n around this area n on d main road of Jalan Pahang, there's a McD drive in n dine in outlet, n there r some food stalls n restaurants around it , n 2 lrt stations away is d Sunway Putra Mall with a good foodcourt. So d next time u visit d garden, u would know where to find food near d Titiwangsa Lake garden.
Thanks for visiting KL and see you back soon! On your next trip back, try visiting other states. My favourite places are Malacca, Cameron Highlands (Pahang state) and Penang. Haven't been to Langkawi and East Malaysia, so I can't comment yet. Take care! 😊
Sorry to hear, its hard to find food when its still Ramadhan or Hari Raya(Eid). Most of the local restaurants are close. Best way is to go to the mall u'll find plenty of open restaurants.
I just went there yesterday🤣 with my lecturer n my course mate (historical conservation course)... its good we get to see the art hospital which is below the gallery. It is the space they store and conserve the arts.
Ahh man.. those kitties are absolutely cute.. there's a water someone put it nearby.. Hope you will be back soon..your "mission" in Kuala Lumpur has yet to be accomplished..😆Anyway enjoy your journey and have safe travel..! 👍☺️
Blue and Green caps generally more expensive because that is mineral water. Brands like Dasani by Coca Cola, F&N and Spritzer. White caps are reverse osmosis treated filtered water sourced from pipe water...just like how water from a water dispenser. Cheaper but sometimes priced higher depending on areas where you bought it.
There is a building called “istana budaya” literally translated as the cultural palace. They hold cultural music and theater and events of traditional in nature. You may have to look at the schedule to buy the tickets. It is along the art gallery road.
The next time you come to Malaysia you should spend at least 3 months here to discover the country, as they are plenty to offer. Also it’s a hub for a TH-camr to grow their channel as Malaysian always enjoy, support and appreciate views from foreign visitors on the county. Good luck on your channel brotha, hopefully you will come back to Malaysia soon. And USD 0.50 for a bottle water, that’s more the less the price you pay here.
It may be my last day, but I'll sure remember all these great moments, including this one: th-cam.com/video/rz6ySRLZEiQ/w-d-xo.html
Hello Matt, here watching and supporting you. 😊
Thanks!
Found your video in my FYP. Love from Malaysia ❤

Ah ok
Good bye see u again👋🫂
See your country soon! :)
That's a shame, Malaysia is such a nice place! I don't think we will ever want to leave! 😅
Yes, a good place for sure. Will just have to go back to other places next time.
correct. and there are many underrated and off the beaten path attractions that many tourists did not visit. Not only in KL but the whole Malaysia
It is actually a well-visited place in KL but most of malaysian in KL during this time went to their village to celebrate eid (muslim festival after ramadhan) i guess that's why that place seems to be so quiet and empty
Ah right. I believe you are right. Cool place though.
for locals maybe yes.. but he said "tourists"... tourists coming to KL mostly will be visiting KLCC, Chinatown, Batu Caves, Jalan Alor and thats it...

Honestly, we need days and videos like these that aren’t at the hotspots and center of attention. It shows a different angle. :)
That’s interesting! Lovely building!

Malaysia is more for Family tour...do bring your family the next time you ever come back....it wud bemore fun....Cheers.
Hahaha maybe one day. It is a far destination for that. 20+ hours of travel haha
whelp a bottle of water that size would be around RM1 to RM1.50, sometimes maybe RM2 in the KL sites
Ah I see. Well, better to quench the thirst for that price than no water haha
oh man .. the mineral water .. so expensive .. the most it is RM1 or even 50cent

Yes! Pretty cool place. Better to be in the early morning or evening because of heat haha
All good things must end, but see you again. In malay there is a saying "jumpa lagi" meaning see you again.
Yes, jumpa lagi! :) Will definitely be back soon!
There are many types of bottled water here.
Distilled, plain filtered water, mineral water, most pricey 'evian'.
Right! Maybe I just picked the more expensive one by mistake haha
The mineral water price depends on the brand
They have different prices…
Ahh okay, maybe that is why.
depend which shop also, 24hour shop , Petrol station shop , will sell at higher price, for that brand outside KL usually rm1 or plus,
Was it a drinking water or mineral water? They are differently priced....
I am not really sure...i'd have to look closely in the video
When you come back, come to mulu cause it’s beautiful village
I will have to look it up. Many beautiful areas to see!
Ahh man.. those kitties are absolutely cute.. there's a water someone put it nearby..
Hope you will be back soon..your "mission" in Kuala Lumpur has yet to be accomplished..😆Anyway enjoy your journey and have safe travel..! 👍☺️
I agree! Thanks! I sure will be back for more :)
@@Reardon_Explores cool 👍😎
Pity the kittens. Hope they will survive
I hope so too! They shouldn't be in that location
1.50 to 2 is normal depend on brand and the source of the water (i.e mineral water or distiled water)
Ah okay. I guess it is, especially for local family owned drink stores.
Totally makes sense now! Well, that money was well-spent because it was hot out! haha
There is a building called “istana budaya” literally translated as the cultural palace.
They hold cultural music and theater and events of traditional in nature. You may have to look at the schedule to buy the tickets.
It is along the art gallery road.
Ah yes, I saw it next to it...with the interesting architecture.
Good 👍🏻
:)
1:10 Being a resident in Kuala Lumpur for decades, I am embarrassed to admit I have never been to this place, National Arts Gallery whatever... 😢
Ah wow really? To be honest, Art Galleries aren't for everyone
Hahaha not for everyone but it's interesting

Yes, I agree. Just have to strategically plan it and find a way for it to work. Definitely going to go back soon!
Yo, are you from Pittsfield?
Over there, 2 ringgit for the water yes, it applies to all, not just tourists. :p
Ah I see
on hari raya you can go to any muslim house to eid ramadan.( open house)
Ah yes, that is correct. Maybe someday
Here at my hometown 0.5L mineral water RM 1.50 - RM 2.00, meanwhile 1.5L mineral water RM 2.40 - RM 3.20 😂
Ah okay. I see what happened
Do come back to Malaysia. If you do come back, do come to Kelantan
I will be back soon! So many places to visit!
juat wondering if the weather is too hot for you? 😂
No, not too hot. I've been to hotter places haha
Terima kasih.harap awak datang kembali ke Malaysia
I will be back soon for sure! :)
Pronounced 'ti ti Wang sa'
Ahhh okay. Now I can imagine it correctly
