This song was based on a real tragic incident that took place in Ceylon several decades ago.. It is not so ethical for these singers to continue with such a controversial matter !!
Its a old folk song .Sung so many years ago .agreed the incident was tragic but so many other songs have been sung in similar or worse circumstances .
