So the other day I was fighting a mob of gobbos, then a pack of wolves jumped in, THEN an ogre wandering by was like, “Imma get me a little sumpin sumpin” and decided to join in. I died a thousand deaths.
But it made for a damned good story later. Really makes you feel you’re on an epic adventure.

20:17 the first game was worse than this one in that regard. Example: in the first game, when a wolf howled, it would spawn more wolves in. That counted for any wolf, and they did it often. Now, the wolf howl is only to garner attention.
Wait till see a sleeping dragon.at low level and dang pawns decide to wake it up and u get one showed grrrr

Has anybody at any point, told him about critical strikes? When an enemy is downed or hard staggered, you can approach with a heavy attack to do massive damage. You can see a small shockwave come off an enemy if they're hard staggered. With downed larger enemies, you have to aim for the weak spots to get the crit.
I'm embarrassed to say I did not know this...

Hahah you're pretty funny dude. Love the dry humor lol. Btw just use the to me command and run past your enemies if you're speed running missions to gain some xp. Invest in better pawns, try changing your vocation as well. Thief has a pretty good dashing strike move that gets you easier wins against lesser enemies. I wouldn't go too far with the fighter vocation. Also it would be pretty hilarious trying to see how you'd survive the night 😂

Yes, the first game to a medium extent was like that with back to back encounters. They just amplified things this time around (especially considering how overpowered some of the vocations are and mid to late game gear is as well as adding in the fact that you can get some of gear as some as the game starts). From 22 mins into the vid and onward you actually ventured into an area that is a bit demanding in what gear you need (probably need like 230 to 300 attack/ magic) . Especially since there's a dragon in that exact area.
Also the goblins wiith shields on their body, just grab and throw if their shields become annoying
I had a feeling that I was getting punished too much, felt under-levelled. Well next time I'll go back with higher stats.

love this game and love punting pawns regarding you getting murdered grin youd think the devs had gotten hints on murder from Fromsoft 😁😂 but remember to upgrade pawns n find n unlock classes

Yes I've started crafting now, and I have a tendency to get fond of my pawns. But yes I will change them up as the need arises.
