I'm right behind you, sister! My TBR shelf is growing like rapid fire, especially with all the new releases! BUT YOU HAVE TO READ THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES! Seriously, if there is any series in the world that can be read easily within 2 weeks or less, it's that one! :)
+abookutopia Hey Sasha..i am big fan...now i don't wanna point fingers at you or something but I have been noticing you pronouncing an author's name wrong (and i have noticed it in many of your videos) it is 'Kerstin Gier' not 'Kristin Gier'
As for the Percy Jackson books, there is a group on goodreads where they are doing a read a long for all the Percy Jackson books (the group is just called the Percy Jackson read a long). This month (Nov) they're reading The Lightening Thief and next month they'll be starting Sea of Monsters, so you could always join in that if you want. I haven't read the series either, so you're not alone, but hopefully I'll get to them for the read a long.
omg read Four! ) If you're a fan of the serie, and you were disappointed by allegiant this book will make you fall in love with the serie again. If you actually like allegiant... this book because it adds a lot to the whole trilogy, and specially Four's character.
Game of Thrones (A song of ice and fire) is the most amazing series.. I've always said nothing would top harry potter for me but... I can't choose between game of thrones and hp anymore. It's crazy! So worth the read even though they're big! They're absolutely AMAZING! (Also I would love to see you do a review on them and your opinions and such :) )
No disrespect in any way shape or form, but I kinda don't understand something: If you have all these books why are you buying more? I mean I do the same thing but when I have 10 TBR books not over 100. It just seems like why buy all these books when it seems like you aren't even gonna read them. Maybe you could set a goal! Pick a few books and commit to them! (btw Paper Towns is great!) xx Becca
I'm in a book club in my school and we have to read at least three books and rights notes about each chapter of each book. Which sounded like fun to me....until I couldn't find the time to read the three books. I tried to cram time for my tbr by reading like four of those at a time and I had to read three for school. Also I had to read a book real quick that I had to return to my friend soon. I literally had panic attacks constantly. Guys don't let reading turn into something other than bliss. Read at your own pace. I'm quitting book club and now I'm calm again. But honestly, reading shouldn't be seen as an obligation as much as it does. Yes, you have to read in everyday life but I mean reading voluntarily. Don't push yourself so hard. Have fun reading and don't turn it into work.
lol i actually did watch the series and honestly was quite disappointed but still stand by my opinion on the book! lol i was scrolling through my notifications and it's so weird to me that it's a show now!
I used to like the books of The House Of Night series (marked and etc) but it is such a long story and it gets so boring that I only manage to read till book 8. It's a "We are Never ever getting back together" book series. Evermore, the book one is good, the rest of the series sucks. Hades by Alexandra Adornetto is a 'ok' book didn't like the conclusion of the series tho. You MUSTread the Percy Jackson books. I had this problem with many book still to read, but I took my summer and made a list of priorities and manage to read 70% of my books. PS. You must read Silver Shadows. It is the best of the series so far.
Unspoken, The Lightning Thief (all Percy Jackson books), and Looking for Alaska are some of my all-time FAVORITES. Highly recommend moving them to the top of your TBR list.
Anna Lee I Did not really like paper towns, but its a quick read, i read it in one sitting (saturday) So i recommend you read it. But i absolutely LOVED Looking For Alaska.
Roger Houses I was wonder how easy and quick is Looking for Alaska. I'm going on a 3 hour plane ride and I don't want to be halfway through the plane ride with nothing to read.
Same. Although, I did watch the movie. And same for hunger games. I can't read a book most of the time after I've seen the movie. I read the first book of the Hunger Games books and couldn't finish it cuz I don't really love the second book and I've watched the movies.
Yup agree with you regarding the Outlander series. Great books. Just started the series back in August, going to read one book every two months as it takes a lot of time plus having to put a lot of attention to all the characters introduced and so on. Is better to take slow as the series is not finished yet.
Why do people keep bying books without reading them? I mean ok you finish a book series then go get another one. I feel like if I have books in my library that I haven't read yet they are going to feel super offended or something...
I highly recommend My Name is Memory! That book is so wonderful. I wasn't expecting to be as good as it was, but it's so different from anything I've read. It's a great fantasy/romance/a tiny bit historical fiction.
136 are on my TBR shelves. I'm slowly working my way through them since I read books from the library as well and I continue to purchase the new books in all thr series that I love.
soo many books, no shame! i like picking up a book at the store and reading right away... or leaving it the self for a few years, then finding it. sometimes its not the right moment for a book, it will find you when its time...
I have a large tbr too. Read these angelfall, don't look back, taking and paper towns. Very good. I too have not read lightening thief. I too have a habit of not finishing books
I think when you kind of separate the shows from the books and learn to accept that they're going to be different you can really just appreciate both in their respected mediums. It would be impossible to do an exact adaptation and I've noticed from leaked pictures that it looks like they're straying the most from the books here in season 5. But its ok! Even george says, the books are the books and the show is the show.
Don't feel bad! You aren't the only one! I have a lot of books that I need to read too! My TBR pile has gotten a lot bigger since I discovered booktube! :)
Hello! (In first time, i'm french, sorry for the fault) I LOVE your videos!! You are perfect ans beautiful! But, me and my french friends have trouble: you speak very quickly, this is difficult for translate. Can you speak more slowy please?? Thanks!! And I Love you! Continue, you're super! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
i'm not French xD i'm Chilean , and same here, Sasha is by faaar my favorite booktuber , but sometimes i can't understand:c anyway i still loving her videos xD abookutopia calm down a little bit pleeeeaase:c
same as ^^^ im Mexican and sometimes she pronounces words differently the way I was taught to pronounce them. XD I mean I understand you and all, but it would be great if you can speak more slower. TE AMOOO
OMGG Cress was the best in the series in my opinion!! The other books were really really good but CRESS WAS A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF AMAZING OMG SO GOOD SO GOOD.
Great video! It's also nice to "meet" another Half Price Books customer. :) My TBR Shame was alleviated somewhat when one of my wall shelves, holding nearly half of the mass market paperbacks, collapsed. I went through my collection and decided to take out books I know I'll never read--and brought them to Half Price Books.
GUILTY! Me too I've only started book hoarding last December and hell I've got a tower of TBR now, how much more to you? Lol but I love the feeling of having a lot of books to read, I mean a lot of worlds yet to be explored.
My dear, I really hope you read Partials by now. I know the first few pages don't make much sense but after some time you understand it and the story is amazing
It's been a few years, so maybe some of these have changed, but A Great and Terrible Beauty took awhile for me to get into. But once I did, it was so so so so good! Definitely worth the read.
Oh my gosh. A great and terrible beauty was such a good book. It's actually a whole series but I never read the rest, just that book but I want to keep on reading. I think you'll like it.
I feel your pain! The struggle is SO real. I have a shelf and a half of books to read and I feel so bad I haven't gotten around to reading them all yet!
Angelfall is amazing! I finished it on Monday and I highly recommend it. When I started it, I knew I'd probably like it, but I had no idea that I'd love it as much as I did.
Great video! I wouldn't rush to read Evermore and Marked. Those were 2 series I just couldn't get into! And I see These Broken Stars in the background...Amazing book!
You must get through Dragonfly In Amber to get to Voyager, which is SO SO SO AMAZING!!! It is my second favorite in the series so far (of course Outlander being the best). I'm currently reading The Fiery Cross, which is so far pretty slow. But I have a feeling the next book will be good.
You should give Fated another shot because the main story doesn't even start until 30 maybe 50 pages in. The very beginning is just how she ended up in New Mexico with her grandmother where the series takes place. I've read all the books and there all really great. I read them when my mother was in the hospital last year because she had a stroke on mothers day 2015 (not a very good day for her) and they were a great series to get lost in, in a time when I needed a distraction.
You should really read Four by Veronica Roth it is so good and there's just alot of character depth on Four/Tobias. And also requiem, That is such an amazing book well the whole series is amazing and also It has Hannah's POV which is pretty awesome as it contrasts from her to Lena's.
Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska are pretty similar character wise and kinda plot but I liked paper towns and LOVED looking for Alaska. LFA left me in a corner rocking back and forth when I finished it.
i threw the book when i found out what was the countdown for, and didnt read for 2 days. But somehow finished it sobbing. The only book in which I hate the main character, and still love the book. well done JG
Carissa Costello I felt the same way! I actually put the book down twice, cause honestly I didn't find the characters to be instantly lovable like Hazel and Augustus were. But I kept got through it and without realizing it I found myself really caring about the characters, and caring about their friendships. It was definitely gradual but the friendship created in LFA I thought was really magical :)
Rusydi Rosman OMG yeah when I realized what before and after was.....I just about threw the book across the wall..then retrieved it and continued to read through my tears.
I'm about to read Linger too! I found Shiver on one of my teachers bookshelf some how and thought it sounded so I read it but no one else had Linger but I got the series for Christmas! :D I never knew it was so popular but apparently it is... And then I also found raven boys so that is now on my TBR list too
Oh my gosh! I hope you have read Between The Lines by now. It was so good! Plus the sequel of it. Also Looking For Alaska. One of my fave John Green book 😊
Hades is soo good. I started that series a few years ago with just the first book halo not realizing there was a sequel. Now I have the third book heaven as one of my tbr's
I agree about Will Grayson Will Grayson but I finished it because I usually finish every single book I read because I sometimes feel like it will get better.
The only book I care about you not reading is DRAGONFLY IN AMBER! But I feel you on how it takes a lot out of you. We're so emotionally invested!
I'll read it over Christmas!!
abookutopia you should really read 13 reasons why its great and sad
Oddie Stanford really? I was quite disappointed with it. Seemed very superficial to me.
Sumaira Nawazwhy did it seem superficial
Self victimization by the protagonist, petty and shallow.
That time when Sasha wasn't yet obsessed with Outlander 😂
PERCY JACKSON IS THE BOOK SERIES (and the heroes of olympus) THAT I WILL NEVER STOP PUSHING INTO PEOPLE'S FACES TO READ THEM!
SOOOOOOOOOO READ ALL!!!
+LOtaku YES!!!!!

Kaylon Gates percy jackson and hollow city should be finished immediately!

Same!
Me too 😢
Gloria Hernández ikr i keep rereading my books and dont pick the unread ones
Gloria Hernández same
I'm right behind you, sister! My TBR shelf is growing like rapid fire, especially with all the new releases!
BUT YOU HAVE TO READ THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES! Seriously, if there is any series in the world that can be read easily within 2 weeks or less, it's that one! :)

Percy Jackson is life. No other words required.
Eeshita Paul Percy Jackson is life and death itself
Eeshita Paul I have to have a laugh at that when you look at your dp (not hating on PJ)
your TBR pile is bigger than my entire book collection O.O......xD
SAME
Same
you look so pretty in this video
Aw thank you!
+abookutopia Hey Sasha..i am big fan...now i don't wanna point fingers at you or something but I have been noticing you pronouncing an author's name wrong (and i have noticed it in many of your videos) it is 'Kerstin Gier' not 'Kristin Gier'
Book-ish Fever if u watched the video she said that sorry if she pronounces the authors wrong

I haven't read the series either, so you're not alone, but hopefully I'll get to them for the read a long.
hi! I just started the series and I'm on the third book. I'm assuming they do a different book every month?
yep, they read them in order, starting with the first one this month
Okay great thanks!
Half of my books I own have not been read, I just read too many library books because I'm broke
I HAVEN'T READ PERCY JACKSON EITHER! I FEEL YOU.
omg read Four! ) If you're a fan of the serie, and you were disappointed by allegiant this book will make you fall in love with the serie again. If you actually like allegiant... this book because it adds a lot to the whole trilogy, and specially Four's character.
I think she did because it was on her bookshelf
Yeaaah so true! I really love it❤️
Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska are my favourite books of all time, please read them soon! 😊
HFFMermaid Are they better than the Fault in our Stars?
Full time dragon trainer omg i feel so bad, i dislike looking for alaska so much hahah
I LOVED Switched by Amanda Hocking. I'm on the final book Ascend and OMG I'm in love with this trilogy!
Ikr!!! I read that trilogy 3 times and I loved it every single time. It is so good and none of my friends have read it. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
PLEASE get to Grave Mercy!!! You'll be in love with all it's characters.
Second that! That trilogy was amazing and I need more of all of them!
You seriously need to read Percy Jackson! It's amazing
Same with the Shiver, Linger and Forever books, they are AMAZING. I NEVER get tired of Sam and Graces relationship.
You have literally grown so much when it comes to hair and makeup, WERK IT GUURL :''D
Gone and PJO are my top favourite series, at the start of PJO it can be quite kiddish but when you get into it, it's AMAZING.

I used to like the books of The House Of Night series (marked and etc) but it is such a long story and it gets so boring that I only manage to read till book 8. THAT WAS MY REACTION!!!!!!!
HOW CAN U NOT READ PERCY JACKSON?!IN MY EYES ITS LIKE A CLASSIC!!!
I haven't read them. don't think I ever will. they're just not interesting to me. it's not the end of the world that she hasn't read them yet
Im probably going to read the Percy Jackson series next year because my friend loves the series.
This makes me feel so much better about my TBR :')
Is it bad that I still haven't read Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns?
I haven read any f
The fault in our stars
Anna Lee I Did not really like paper towns, but its a quick read, i read it in one sitting (saturday) So i recommend you read it. But i absolutely LOVED Looking For Alaska.
Roger Houses I was wonder how easy and quick is Looking for Alaska. I'm going on a 3 hour plane ride and I don't want to be halfway through the plane ride with nothing to read.
Roger Houses also I'm read Paper Town. Its pretty good, its not amazing. It is a pretty easy read, I read about half of it in 1 hour.
daddeezgirl626 Its pretty fast if you read it non-stop. Its kind of the same size of Paper Towns.
The PJO books are AWESOME! I was hooked on the first word of the first chapter: "Look..."
I know, I'm weird...
Love your videos!!
You guys are gonna hate me for this but I still haven't read divergent. Or watched the movie. I KNOW I KNOW
Madyson Reed Meh, I can;t get into her writing style and it wasn't the best book ever.
Divergent is really overhyped in my opinion ... There exists books that are much better than Divergent ... Just my opinion.
Me either. I've listened through chapter four in an audio book but I haven't found the others!
Roswell Ross I totally agree
Same. Although, I did watch the movie. And same for hunger games. I can't read a book most of the time after I've seen the movie. I read the first book of the Hunger Games books and couldn't finish it cuz I don't really love the second book and I've watched the movies.

Switched is absolutely amazing! My favourite trilogy ever, it is such an underappreciated series and it definitely needs movies asap, 5 stars!
I have waaaay to much to read. maby 50 .... or more.😨
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is amazing!! :) so are tons of your TBR books!
Why do people keep bying books without reading them? I mean ok you finish a book series then go get another one. I feel like if I have books in my library that I haven't read yet they are going to feel super offended or something...
Because you go to a book store and end up with so many you want to read
I highly recommend My Name is Memory! That book is so wonderful. I wasn't expecting to be as good as it was, but it's so different from anything I've read. It's a great fantasy/romance/a tiny bit historical fiction.
lol i havent read harry potter yet

mikayla Crawford same
You all must feel so ashamed... *jk*
136 are on my TBR shelves. I'm slowly working my way through them since I read books from the library as well and I continue to purchase the new books in all thr series that I love.
Not trying to be rude but its Stephen (pronounced like Steven) King. He's quite famous ^^
soo many books, no shame! i like picking up a book at the store and reading right away... or leaving it the self for a few years, then finding it. sometimes its not the right moment for a book, it will find you when its time...
What exactly does TBR stand for? I probably sound really stupid rn
to be read :)
Tyler Joseph's Kimono no worries I was wondering the same thing lol
I have a large tbr too. Read these angelfall, don't look back, taking and paper towns. Very good. I too have not read lightening thief. I too have a habit of not finishing books
You have to read Game of Thrones. The books are so much better than the show. The show is kind of disappointing a little bit.
I agree. I used to love the show but since I've started reading the books, the show isn't that good anymore.
I only finished the first season haha. I have no idea if I'll watch the rest too.
Ya I really wanna read them I love the show but I heard that the books are way better
I think when you kind of separate the shows from the books and learn to accept that they're going to be different you can really just appreciate both in their respected mediums. Even george says, the books are the books and the show is the show.
chancediamond184 it won't be ok for me
Every time I watch one of your videos I get so inspired to read more and more. Thank you, it feels amazing!
Switched is sort of a corny romance but it's very good.
I'll give it a shot if I'm really depressed after reading a book!
I agree. The first 2 were decent but I thought that the 3rd one was terrible.
I immensely disagree. They were all FANTASTIC
I liked Switched but really can't get myself to finish the second book. :(
It's so AMAZING!!! The series was beautiful!
Don't feel bad! You aren't the only one! I have a lot of books that I need to read too! My TBR pile has gotten a lot bigger since I discovered booktube! :)
Did you actually pronounce Stephen King wrong? lol It's pronounced Steve-en, not Stef-an.
CRUEL BEAUTY WAS AWESOME BUT THE ENDING WAS CONFUSING BUT I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH
Hello!

Great video!
It's also nice to "meet" another Half Price Books customer. :)

The Raft by S.A. Bodeen is amazing! There are really short chapters in the book so it is a really quick read. Love your channel!
GUILTY! Me too I've only started book hoarding last December and hell I've got a tower of TBR now, how much more to you? Lol but I love the feeling of having a lot of books to read, I mean a lot of worlds yet to be explored.

MARKED! I love the Marked series, still haven't read them all but the first 4 are great!! Give them a try!!
Angelfall is amazing! I finished it on Monday and I highly recommend it. When I started it, I knew I'd probably like it, but I had no idea that I'd love it as much as I did.
OMG I love like all of those!! You have to read them! Especially THE RAVEN BOYS and STARCROSSED!!! 😍😍 and ruby red

You should really read Four by Veronica Roth it is so good and there's just alot of character depth on Four/Tobias. And also requiem, That is such an amazing book well the whole series is amazing and also It has Hannah's POV which is pretty awesome as it contrasts from her to Lena's.
If you've read Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children read it Sasha...... and Hollow City is a great sequel to MPHFPC
Four is amazing! The divergent series is my favourite series ever! 😍💕
13 REASONS WHY....SUCH AMAZE I NEED YOUR BOOK SHELF
Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska are pretty similar character wise and kinda plot but I liked paper towns and LOVED looking for Alaska. LFA left me in a corner rocking back and forth when I finished it.
