Dude! Dainer sent me, amazing build. Love the design and your editing. You got yourself a new subscriber. May the algorithm gods bless you with all the monies.
It is your right to be proud. Very appealing craft. Though as you have a dog, I would screw the final legs upside down for stability reasons. For protection of that precious carpet from coffee stains.
Not a bad idea Candan, with my other nelson bench, it fell with a dog jumping on it haha. This is the original look though and kinda keen on keeping it for nostalgia sake
love the video dude!! Just came across your stuff on here and instagram! Im a Ottawa creative here myself man!! So cool what you have create and make with skateboards hella inspiring!!

Great job, I found your name from watching "Jesper Makes" he credits you for helping with the math. I'm a woodworker near Smiths Falls, I love this community that is connected around the world with TH-cam. Even if we live close . Cheers.
@AndrewSzeto Outstanding, my son worked at Teeed as a taste tester for a while. I can find pallets to work with, but where do you find skateboard decks?
Hey Andrew, what a fantastic build!!! And I love the way that it compliments the rug underneath (or the other way around 😀). I truly thought I was already subbed to your channel, but just clicked the Subscribe button extra hard right now. Top work!
Dude this is wicked just found your channel through mark dainer and wow. Looks amazing can I ask a may of missed what's the thickness/spacing between the cut's to give u the width of the slats if that makes sense??🤔🏴👍
ooooh that's a good question, so the slats ended up being 1" and the spacing in between was 0.6". Not exactly the spacing on a regular bench, but it was what I could do with the sizing of the center slats. Really appreciate the watch Michael!
@@AndrewSzeto no worries man subscription added to my video list of followers. Think am gonna attempt one these out pallets and some red Maranti strips a have lying about. 👍🏴 Wish me luck could be interesting
@@AndrewSzeto I look forward to that video I'll be expecting one from mark dainer aswell ohh maybe that's what he keeps teasing us with his up coming project he's stole your idea.😲 I will keep u in mind if a need anything trying get marks pallet challenge entry finished then I'll start on that. Got some cutting boards and live edge tables to do aswell but they can wait till a have play with the bench. 🏴👍
Amazing! Forget the building skills and tools I need - which will require me to ‘phone a friend’ for help - what wood can I use to apply a walnut looking finish and end up with a reasonably priced bench? Any idea of weight capacity of bench?
oooh so there are definitely stains available at your local hardware store. you can apply after assembly. capacity on the bench is probably 3-400 lbs (I weight close to 200 lbs and it holds me pretty easily).
Great build Andrew. You should do a collab with Woby Design! Great job on the editing too, those stop motion bits must have taken ages to make, but they look awesome! Just curous, why the subtitles? If I may be honest, for me, they are a bit distracting... I always start reading them, but actually don't need to in order to hear what you say. The audio of your vids is pretty good, don't know if that's your concern?
@@AndrewSzeto ah, ok. But... I follow quite a few makers on TH-cam, and you're the only one with subtitles... Anyway, if they are working for you (helping grow your audience) then please add them, but for me personally: I could do without!
