Watched this episode of Baywatch when I was much younger! Made me cry then, now listening to it in 2022, still makes me cry. Especially since my grandma has died, it make me think of her 💔
This son is so haunting and beautiful. I'd heard it on the "Baywatch" episode and looked for an mp3 of it everywhere. I finally went with a TH-cam converter to make one and have been playing it over and over. It's a shame this song hasn't gotten more notoriety. It's one of those songs that just sticks with you, not only because of its musical beauty but because the lyrics are so powerful. You can hear and feel the loss and longing in the musical score as well as in the masterful vocals of Mr. Zell. I can honestly say that this is among my top 20 favorite songs now. Absolutely beautiful, sad, haunting, and heartbreaking.
It really is a great song. I'm so glad Robin had me sing it! A great experience, and it's wonderful to know that people are still hearing it now and again!
All those years ago when I heard this on Baywatch when Tracey passed away in Mitch's arms I knew that this is the song I want played at my funeral. It's absolutely beautiful ❤️😭
Hi everyone, I'm sorry it's taken so long to respond. I just happened to see this out there today. The song was written by Robin and her late mother, Judithe Randall. Robin and Judithe wrote this, and I sang it for the Baywatch episode, "Seize the Day," it's a particularly sad episode about loss. I hope, and I know Robin does as well, that all of you who have lost love ones are not alone; singing this particular song was a very emotional experience for me. All the best - Steve
Thank you! I wish I could take credit for writing it :) - Robin and Judithe did a great job - but I'm very grateful Robin had me sing it. It really is a special song.
Thank you! And so sorry it's taken so long to respond - I sort of happened upon these posts by accident. Robin and Judithe wrote a great one - and I'm glad I had the opportunity to sing it! All the best, - Steve
Steve, why did you use the name 'Zell' not your real name? I was looking for years using Steve Zell ! Anyway you had an amazing voice and like others I heard you on Baywatch the first time. I used to communicate with the ever busy music coordinator/supervisor Kevin J Edelman I think there was another song you did by Robin and Judithe also but it escapes me just now. Anyway, I wish you well and thank you for bringing this song to life.
Hi Steve, Guy Marshall here, this song is so very special to so many. Your vocal performance is absolutely beautiful, simply can not be sung better by anyone, just perfect! Always so special for me to hear it, brings back such great memories of us recording it on my bedroom apartment back in Santa Monica! Best wishes always to you and your family!
Sorry it's taken so long to reply! But thank you - Robin and Judithe really wrote something special there. They wrote quite a few of the songs on Baywatch - and others - including Tomorrow Doesn't Matter Tonight (3rd single off Starship's Knee Deep in the Hoopla)
Baywatch my favorite series from the 90s. One of the saddest chapters of the series, Erika Eleniak's farewell was also sad, The death of Jill Riley (Shawn Weatherly) after injuries from a shark attack during a rescue Season 1> Episode 18 Shark Derby. Summer Quinn's departure was one of the biggest mistakes the series had
My heart is torn in pieces tonight. A very dear friend of mine died yesterday at 11:30 PM. I dedicate this song to her husband Steve. He is hurting tonight.
Probably the best thing is to contact Robin Randall through Facebook, she and her late mom, Judithe, wrote it. I know they've done compilations of the Baywatch music - but I'm not sure "If I Could Touch You One More Time" was included.
I dedicate this to Michael Jackson, Frodo AND Josh Groban! No, he's not lost, but I love the song and would love to hear him do a version of it, hey, if this is the real singer, u did an excellent job, and I felt so sorry for Mitch Buchannon, I wanted to hug him when I seen that ep, I love Baywatch.
but me and michael is actually ment to be perfect match destined to be together i also had a childhood friend named jacob smith he was at the age of 26yrs old when he died in a car accident in 2006 but in 2007 i found out that michael is actually my ideal dream guy that i always dreamed being with forever but my high school best friend kristin buckley died at the of 17yrs old from the influenza plate removal from her brain it's one of the native American diseases

Fabulous song and Steve reminds me of Josh Groban
I found the song it's so heart breaking
sing this in memory of my dear 37 year old son who has died in 2010.
Mary Kujawa I know you know me but I'm sorry for your lost

I wonder why his comments erased from my comment? because I am from Czech Republic? verte that I have the heart and I love America and Baywatch!!
Sei il mio angelo TVB
My heart is broken tonight. I lost a high school friend and classmate.
Ho scoperto questa perla in Baywatch
Tracy... how sorry for her...
Sadder than every "Game Over" theme I've ever heard.
I can't even find the song so I can buy it.
Ti voglio bene patata .....dio sia nel tuo cuore ....addio
@wildUAcatz - Sorry for the quick typing - what I meant to say was, I hope you know you are not alone. Losing a loved one is never, ever easy.
Ma di chi è? Di steve o Robin?
I dedicate this to Michael Jackson, Frodo AND Josh Groban!
I can't find this song for purchase.
You have to Google how to convert a TH-cam link to an MP3. I couldn't find it either.
I can't find a youtube converter.
I finally found one. it's a url page and it works
