i don't have a cape in my first bag.. i have one in each of the following bags facial bag, color service, hair shaping, and permanent waving. i know my mannequin has the stay draped throughout thoughts on how i was planning to do it?? also i have a big tripod for my mannequin, i was just planning on taking it out with my doll head when it was time for the chemical services. that ok? love your videos! helping build my confidence for my test next week! thank you.

Hi if it fits keep it inside of your bag -for the set up and disinfection section do NOT take out anything out of your monomer and polymer bag . Wait until it’s time to do that section of the test. ❤️
Hello I took my manicurist practical exam today didn’t pass for few points. If you can helping with some question I have I will be gladly. Now in the new one that started sept 1,2019. Do I have to desinfected 1st and then but the blood spill bag and trash bag? When I finish the manicure I buy everything away and leave just the hand on the table and desinfected? Do I repeat this step for nail tip,form and blood exposure? Or I have to wait until the instructor come check and when they said begin for next services then remove everything desinfected and set up the table with the next service bag?. I am sorry for so many questions but I graduate from PUerto RICO and we don’t need licenses and I have no body here to teach me how Texas state board request everything to be specifically. Thank you so much if someone can help. My next try will be 0ct 3
Yes you only leave the mannequin hand out after each section clean station than raise your hand. Do you have the manicurist information bulletin from psi? If you do not please find the latest one. It will help you alot.

Correct the Psi bulletin will not specify what exactly needs to be in each bag. Go through each section and write down everything that you will need . That should help you figure it out. I believe there is a list but not specific.

( do you know how to ask them how they take the point? do the camera in the room work? do i take so fast, they didn't seen what i did? or something reason?) i have appoitment for re-exam on next week. hope so i will pass the exam. if this time i fail again, may be i need to ask them why, T.T i want to make sure: 1. Properly dispose of waste material .....................(i think trash is throw to the trash bag after each used?) 2. Ensure workstation/area remains sanitary ..........( i don't know what is it meaning? i try to make the left side is disinfection, the right side is cleaning things and center is working things.) 3. Replace contaminated items ................................(i think trash is throw to the trash bag after each used.) 4. Ensure containers remain closed when not in use ...(i take the paper cover disinfection things in the leftside when i didn't use those). 5. Kit remains sanitary..............................................(when i make the manicure kit set up?) 6. Avoid cross contamination...................................(sanitized the hand each step?) Do i need to throw/clean all thing about that section before i raise my hand? (ex: throw to the trash bag/line trash bag all things, just keep the hand model in the table and raise the hand for the last step?)

Yes blood spill kit goes in your first bag. Your mannequin needs to have a cape throughout all parts of the test. If you are taking test before September 1st these videos are great help. After September 1st there are alot of changes to Texas practical exam.

On each bag would we write Pre Sanitized Implements or Disinfected/Sanitized Implements?
We write the service section name on large bag and underneath it we write "pre-sanitized Implements"

can I bring a duffle bag with wheels on it?
Yes! I know a friend who did so a few yrs ago and recommended I did the same
I know this is old but you can also bring a suitcase. I know someone who did that as well
