Even then it is not great, just ok. The stock upgrade doesn't fully fix the bending issue since it's still connected by a relatively thin tube, which can bend.
0:28 That muzzle device is the GIS HP22 linear compensator. It's basically a single-baffle silencer. It's very popular in Czech republic. Doesn't cost almost anything (4500 CZK, so about 192 USD) Brings a rifle (170dB) noise down to a PCC-level (150-ish dB). Big improvement in noise reduction, especially indoors. Not a good design when you need all the modern features and optics but hey it still shoots.
@@kiereluurs1243 I agree 100%. It is still a rifle round, albeit in a slightly smaller package compared to a full sized offering such as an AKM. Glad to see you again, a very nice functioning setup of weapon. Nothing fancy just a war proven system that works. Unlike majority i think amd 65 is a good weapon. If they could improve few things in this system design, it would have been better. But cost cutting and mass production often ruin beautiful things. The ak 74 receiver and good stock with proper handguards and 12.5 inch barrel it pretty neat.

I doubt anyone has appetite for a further escalation, so although the bitter truth may be a hard pill to swallow for some people (and they are definitely only some) most people around the world see the current situation for what it is: A Russian Victory. And it is not a Pyrrhic victory either. The more peace is delayed, the more untenable it would become for Ukraine to grow and recover. Russia is a neighbour, and no matter how much some Ukrainians might dislike that it is in the economic and security interests of Ukrainian people to get along with all neighbours. I don't know what kind of tools you have lying around, but you could weld a slim plate with some screw holes in it instead of a top bar for the stock, so you could fix a block of wood that should be fairly easy to carve into a real cheek rest. Would be extremely fast to do with a proper guillotine and drill press but an angle grinder and a drill would work as well. Oh and pallet wood is very easy to carve using a fibre backed grinding disk for metal, it just fills your lungs with dust
