doesnt matter how good he plays and how much he scores with his attitude and diving skills no1 will ever like him except the united fans. kids are meant to look up to the guy but he isnt a good influence. ive never heard negative comments on messi and kakas behaviours. messi is my favourite kaka isnt but i still like him cause he is good and a nice guy with a positive attitude.

Granted that tonight was not one of Ronaldo's best performances, but what this panel failed to mention is that he had absolutely no support up front in the match. Sir Alex was obviously playing with an uncharacteristic defensive mindset which did not let Ronaldo showcase his understanding of the game. And considering the "dives", every single time he went to ground there was some sort of physical contact, and not to critique the referee, but I will say that he protected Barca far more.
Messi is the best player in the world but it was alot easier for him tonight to show his talents cos he was given the ball on a plate for the whole first half. If ronaldo had been given that much ball the scoreline would have been different. I love football and have followed it for most of my life and loved to watch R9 on italian football saturday when he played Inter or Zidane playing for Juve or Real. first of all.. being outplayed by Barca is untrue.. they had 65% control and possesion but didn't do shit with it.. therefore.. Barca's STAR TEAM .. noen of them showed up and produced.. where as the 35% that Man Utd had which is about 32 mins of the game, was pretty attacking and Ronaldo stood out when he got the ball.. 3 goals in 2 games vs Dynamo Kiev, 1 goal vs Roma... and Dynamo kiev he did stand otu alot.. As a United fan, it was very frustrating to watch Ronaldo's little tantrums. He should have spent less time bitching, especially when he started it against our own players. mate, ronaldo only does it against the little team. honestly, even i can score a hattrick against teams like reading, derby. however, he doesn't show up against teams like arsenal, chelsea, liverpool, against newcastle in midweek. he can't do i against teams who will bring the game to him.
i hate when united win on cnn etc it says : ronaldo and united win. when they actually never watch the match jst see the 1 - 0 and this gives a lot off ppl that watch the news ideas that ronaldo was great and is the greatest even though he played very badly.
I really enjoyed watching this, in a sort of, watching a sad and bitter man makes me feel great about myself. Tragic to see all that jealousy inside coming out in a pathetic rant. first of all.. being outplayed by Barca is untrue.. they had 65% control and possesion but didn't do shit with it.. therefore.. Barca's STAR TEAM .. noen of them showed up and produced.. where as the 35% that Man Utd had which is about 32 mins of the game, was pretty attacking and Ronaldo stood out when he got the ball.. 3 goals in 2 games vs Dynamo Kiev, 1 goal vs Roma... and Dynamo kiev he did stand otu alot.. Roma.. he had 1 game vs them and got injured, so I'd say he did well...
He may be entertaining but he makes contradictions weekly...saying rooney was the best player in the world but saying scholes is better after. two weeks ago he said united were a great team but here he contradicts himself again

As a United fan, it was very frustrating to watch Ronaldo's little tantrums. He should have spent less time bitching, especially when he started it against our own players.
HOWEVER, did these guys miss the fact that Barca were playing horribly?? They played dirty, and every three minutes, Deco was on the floor, rolling around like a little bitch.
Also, it's really annoying how everytime Ronaldo has a bad game, the focus is on him rather than the players who DID have a good game.

Firstly, a review of the whole tie would be nice, Messi is a great player, but did Barca score or create a decent opportunity? No
Secondly, Ronaldo has scored in many big important games, so rubbishes that argument.
Also, i'd rather Ronaldo help Utd the league with the best contribution of an individual, ie 30 goals, than turn up to a few important games. And he's done good for Portugal in the Euro and World Cup.

Unless one is myopic, all Ronaldo does is cheaply move his feet on the ball and then misplace the ball; his free-kicks are pure guess which in most cases end on the wall, perrenial diving, whining; In sum, the lad lacks techniques. Don't tell me he has score more goals. Those can be functions of deplections, penalty kicks, without forgetting the economy of team mates' playmaking.

hmm i disagree.. these people are 'self-proclaimed' experts.. they have experience.. but it doesn't mean they are always right. People tend to agree with them because they are on TV and talk smart, and in ways are smart, but o nthe other side of things they aren't.. for example.. they said they would rather rooney before Ronaldo. Why? Rooney is qualityand so is Ronaldo.. buutt Ronaldo is quicker, better dribbler, header, better fitness, and may be a bit more selfish, but he gets jobs done.
There are many talented players out there that never became great beacuse some coaches/managers make them play so conservatively. Even Dunphy often makes the point that youth football would be better off without coaching. People from the slums of Brazil never learnt tactics and look how good they turned out as a nation. I do think the way a coach believes in playing a game often matters more than individuals, thats why 'great' individuals are a dimz a dozen, not 4 lack of talent like thou.

His repetation goes before him. He should have got two penalties clearly. Dunphy complains about ronaldo diving..how can he tell from watching on tv if they werent frees or not. EVERY player has FLAWS!!! more than Ronaldo, either they aren't 2 footed, can't pass well, aren't quick and are 'somehow' or another in-complete. where as Ronaldo is more complete than anyone right now in ability.. we should be looking and judging players on their athletic ability and not their attitude and how they react to situations.. it isn't of any care or matter.
