Nice update. I'm coming down to north Bristol for the week, tomorrow, on the ZX9R, leaving the Daytona and the Jag at home. A good bike will win over any kind of car any time.
Cheers mate. Looking at motorcycle rental but might not bother and maybe just if it's interesting show the 4x4 in the dunes thing I'm hoping to convince her on doing... ;)
Good man! Pull the clutch in with the horses but ridiculous how something so big is so easily spooked?! The World of Phil is looking pretty good, happy for you man :) I've never been good with televised sports either :/
Cheers Mr Finnoctane. Pulling the clutch in is the best I can do... I do love my SC Project exhaust and the Tiger is way quieter than loads of bikes, my friends bandit with a straight pipe is stupidly insane! Life is good...
Why yes, the Big V does have traction control! But it also has Kawasaki quality control on the finishes, so it's gone to bed for the winter. It'll be out for the occasional ride when the salt has been washed away but that's probably it until early March.
Yup. Traction control would be good, felt the back end sliding and wheel spin last Saturdays ride... need to wash the Tiger one of these weekends. It's just dirty as they haven't started salting yet, I think.
ThreeStreets42 Ah no worries mate. You don't want to scar your children with the sight of a grown man curled up in the fetal position crying like a baby.... ;-)
You sound like me (trying to convince yourself that its okay to have both car and bike) I have a new Vespa and Honda Shadow as toys along with a 'smallish' boat on the river, then van for work and Audi convertible for the weekends, life is about having fun I think, its unfair to work to just pay the bills, I know lot of people do just that, but if you can afford some toys to make all the hard work worth while, why not. Enjoy Dubai, be good to see a video if you get a chance.
Cheers Paul. Car was just due an upgrade I think. I love my gadgets. Yup. Already planning the holidays and trips next year, gives you something to look forward to!
Haha. When Alex (my girlfriend) has a '14 BMW 1 Series M Sport... anything wouldn't be upmarket enough on my budget. It's nice when in sport mode let's just say... Meh, don't like Citroen sorry ;-)
philjonesuk Yeah, the thing with Citroën cars is that either you really like it, or you don't really give two shits about them. For the price that I got it for (£13k) and the amount of equipment it has it's amazing... :)
My car has more HP than my bike... car is 149hp, Tiger sport is 123hp. Tiger still runs circles around it on pure "holy shit I wish I was wearing adult nappies" acceleration and speed ;-)
hahahaaa! my speed triple has 154 hp! thanks to a few mods... but sush! yeah its all about power to weight, so even smaller bikes have a bigger smile factor than most cars
You very lucky , all them toys, just come across your clog, I test road a 2015 tiger sport today, I found the throttle very snatchy ? Do you?
Sounds like you've got it all sorted there buddy. Keep smiling.
Cheers Al. Life is pretty good at the moment ;)

One of these days we'll meet, talk bikes, moan about work related stuff and it'll be a good laugh sir!
philjonesuk Well, unless there's a dramatic change of course, I'm down here for at least the next six months :-)
brennig jones
Ah cool! Got a contract in Bristol then? We'll have to arrange rides next year (totally booked every weekend till January haha)
Glad all is good, if you can, make a video in Dubai... Have fun

Seat Leon? Meh, could have gone for something more upmarket like a Citroën C5... My parents bought me one for getting my ATPL done... :D
