Well I would say from a fresh account if you plan ahead to save all herbs you wouldn’t need to not finish it. Cause you may have 2k+ Guam’s and Marentills but for someone like me I would rather wait till I have enough to make it worth it. But yes you are not wrong
yeah i'm not gonna give up all the crazy good lunar spells for this, i think i can get enough herbs from kingdom and farming, besides if you just want to rush raids why are you doing an ironman
@@herrabananidoing raids on an ironman is much more satisfying than raiding on a main. You don’t have to count all the gp you make, because you don’t care about gp, only the gear that you get.

I was going to do this on my uim, I had supplies for 5k potions. But big-brain-gamers talked me out of it, since this has been outdated since uims discovered how useful master farmers are for herblore. Personally, I don't really think this method is that worth it, cause the dialogue is annoying, and farm runs are passive and fast anyways, Herblore is not as hard to train on an ironman anymore. Maybe you do a few hundred potions if you are desperate for herblore xp really early on, but rushing master farmers is better for your account imo. Still, nice to show this method, this used to be a popular method among uims.
Or as another alternative to master farmers, if you do enough birdhouse runs for tree seeds you can get 54 farming relatively easily, do tithe farm for auto-weed, plus herb sack and/or seed box, get 62 farming, and now you have medium farming contracts (with garden pie boost). Medium and especially hard farming contracts nearly give you infinite seeds for herb runs by themselves if you set-up all your plots in the farming guild correctly. Throw in the odd seeds from slayer or WT or whatever, maybe drop some money into kingdom set to 5/10 herbs, and raids/hard/elite diary herblore levels are quite reasonable to reach entirely "passively."

Hi I have a hardcore, I stayed two weeks and I took 35k of vials and filled them too. I have farm 99, I'm planting a lot of maretill and a lot of guam, and I have almost 5k of each. But now I need to clean them, which will be a lot of work. Can I finish the quest to make the desert diary to clear the herbs and still be able to level the herb?
I just started this quest and I got the vial from Baba Yaga. I see that everyone that does this method has the lunar outfit, how do I get that without going to far in the quest to make this method not work??
Man I’m so fuckin happy I found this my group ironman is nowhere near the herb level on my main ironman but I’m 100% about to catch up!! Do you know by chance if this is still working? I’d hate to stack like 20k vials just for it to have been patched

I have finished the quest, however I have not tried humidifier as filling them with water is just too quick to worry about humidified later. But you can still use the herbs on the viles after the quest is completed

@@Radishboy I can confirm that this works, as I just tested it. You can still complete the potions after completion of the quest if you have the vials of water or marr vial / guam vial. I had a lot of half products, but also stacked up on some vials of water just to test this.

I've finished my last pots 1 week ago, 2 weeks after completion of the quest. I don't believe it got patched since then. It's a pretty tedious method, but awesome nonetheless.
Bro I feel ya. Herb runs suck butt. However if you struggle through and get your herb sack via tithe farm it’s surprising how many guams and marrentils people just throw away. I have hundreds and I never do herb runs for them
So funny thing about figuring something out. Is more than one person can figure something out. I had no idea there was a video. So I did some test runs and realized it worked. This is 100% still working and I have now finished the quest and still have 1k banked vials and still can make potions (after quest completion)

does it matter if u complete the quest and the pots are empty. like they still need water and herbs.
Put the water in while you bank. But after the quest is complete you can use the vials stored in the bank (:
