I absolutely love Chameleon Pens! As a 14 year old who can't afford that many expensive markers, these take the win. I have a set of 50 and they are all awesome pens. I'd choose them over Copics every single time, because of the price difference and the fact where you can do many different shades with one marker where with copics, you need multiple markers of similar shades to achieve intense shading.
Fenne Kin in england, they are about the same price as copics, if not more expensive and it so so annoying because i just cant afford anything
I didn't buy them in a store, I bought them online. If you search on Amazon, you can find a good deal.
And then there's me, who messes around with crayola markers 😕

you do realize you can do literally the exact same thing you can do with da frikkin chameleon markers with any other alcohol marker, right? the color tops are just bullet nib markers that you can't draw with. i choose winsor and newton brushmarkers every time.

Do you think you can put two colors together and then put that marker to another to get a three way gradient... Ex: Brown+Red=Bred, Bred+Pink=Brenk

😍😍 Those markers are so awesome and honestly it was interesting to see the differences from leaving it shorter amounts of time as you went.

I remember first seeing the chameleon pens on a cable channel here in the UK. (I think it was Create and Craft Network/Channel). That was at least 10 years ago. It's so good that they made it big. Such a good product (I didn't have the money to buy them, but that's not a bad thing. I don't have an affinity for drawing with markers. I just can't "grok" handling them). But now they've got a line of colored pencils....well, that's different. I just *love* colored pencils.

(: ^ :) It sucks bcuz if you're not in the UK the subscription is pretty expensive. I think it's like $300 for a 12 month subscription ? I love Scrawlrbox so much I'd want nothing other than the 12 month.

And finally something which ISN'T dirt cheap in the USA. You can just hop down to walmart and get your supplies.
We Aussies have to pay $5.50 PER pencil of a simple prismacolor. Amazon charge a fortune to ship across the Pacific Ocean
lorrane what 0-0 I can get 12 color pencils for 10-14 bucks in Walmart ,Michael's or Moskatel's (I don't know if I spelled the last one right)

I got the new Chameleon fineliners in a scrawlrbox earlier on this year (2019) which worked like the extra tips. They were so cool but the paper i was given chewed up easily if you did a second pass or tried to blend.

If you buy the colourless blender you can put the colour tops on them and then it's that colour

Your unboxing was really fun! I really enjoyed it :D I found them really interesting and cool, but not very practical while drawing. Going back and forth in large areas is a bit annoying. But small areas are just fine!
You should try out sketchbox, the box is bigger just a bit more expensive, but they also give chameleon markers

Did you know you can do this with ANY. Marker? If using alcohol based you need to be a bit quicker but just put them tip to tip for a few seconds. Same with waterbased markers. I do love the idea of markers like chameleons but it's an extra expense.....
ozshell72 {Miss.Chelle.Aus} if you are serious in markers and can invest they are well worth it tho. I love these sooo much, my fav markers I own.
