    My sister wants to leave the US. I shared a couple of your videos and advice. Mexico is a country I strongly suggested due to its proximity to her children, affordability and diversity of climate. Moving to Mexico would be the first time in her adult life that she has ever been on her own. I am praying she could do it.
    Thank you for your informative and eye opening videos.

    Here is my suggestion Buenos Aires Argentina. I lived in Buenos Aires for nearly 10 years. If you have access to US dollars you can live a very very comfortable lifestyle for around 1500 to 2000. And Argentina and its people are awesome it has something for everyone tastes and Buenos Aires Argentina is a combination of New York City, Paris France and Washington DC 😀. What up Yarbros! I disagree with your choices other than Mexico and Costa Rica. However, I love that you're spreading the word, and getting Americans (especially black folks) to consider leaving and exploring the world. America is in decline like never before. It is imperative to get away from all of that negative energy in USA to heal and thrive.

    New Zealand is good if you have alot of money as cost of living is insane. I'm from Australia and NZ is just as bad as here. Don't get me wrong, if you have the money these are great countries, but if you don't you will struggle hard. Ditto Netherlands. In fact, here in Australia our standard of living has been slowly declining for 30 years and the social issues are starting to show... Same in NZ.

      Usually we're selective in discussing countries with low cost of living and wanted to open this video up to ppl where "low" cost of living wasn't the main determining factor.

    • @FlamencoOz
      @FlamencoOz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@TheYarbros yeah, the issue here is high cost of living is everywhere in these countries, it's not like some other Western nations where different states/provinces have different costs of living so you can find cheaper places to live. It's just high across the board in Australia, NZ, and Netherlands.

In Istanbul and Izmir, you will see many women with outfits that would not have been seen there years ago, like tank tops, crop tops, short shorts, etc. You will also see women covered head to toe in hijab and everything in between. The thing about the cartel is their violence is between them. Unlike American gangs where innocent kids or just anyone can get caught in a drive by or harmed simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also, it is next to impossible to buy a gun legally in Mexico, which means there aren’t very many in circulation compared to the US where every other citizen is trigger-happy. Mexico is a conservative country and family oriented. The cartel isn’t random, knuckle head criminals. They are more organized and strategic with checks and balances. If u are not involved in drugs or other crimes, u should have zero run-ins with the cartel.

    I would move to Iceland, I maybe in the minority but the weather doesn’t bother me. I’ve visited and the landscaping in the summer and the winter is extraordinary plus the wild horses on the country sides. The country is LGBTQ friendly and family oriented. The cost of living is expensive but they have national healthcare and it’s ranked high in being the safest country and has a modern infrastructure.

    Cambodia. I mention Cambodia because the visa is so much easier than Thailand. The people are amazingly friendly and you can get a retirement visa for a year. Or you can do visa runs to Thaiand or Vietnam. I prefer it to Thailand and Vietnam. It’s cheaper. You can live on the river or you can live on the ocean. I love the food. It feel safe but has the problem of people snatching purses but I think that’s true in Vietnam and Thailand as well. I just preferred life and the people there. I thought you have had a great list except that most of the places are not affordable for me on my Social Security. I think we’re going to get a big raise in Social Security if we keep the Democrats in office. Then my Social Security would be enough that I might be able to retire in Portugal. Great choices you two. I love your videos. Keep up the good work.
    Oh also Malaysia is a good place where you can live very well cheaply. I lived in Lumut for a year in a condo with pools for 200 a month. Good hospitals. Anyway I could go on but I won’t lol

    As we know, traveling/expating “ while black” can be a different experience from the Caucasian experience. The “Nomad Capitalist” favors Tbilisi, Georgia. I’d love to hear your experience( if you’ve been) If not, perhaps it might be a worthy trip. Re: worthy countries to consider- South Africa, interesting considering its “ history “ but it seems to have moved on. Of your list I’ve experienced all except for SA and the Netherlands. Your debate, between Mexico and CR is my debate, love them both, but actually got residency in Mexico because it was so easy . Days as opposed to years and expense of CR. I also considered Panama. Panama has been cultivating an expat experience for decades. However, of all the countries I’ve visited and “lived” in , for me there has been no better “ hospitality “ than that of the Costa Rican people.

      Okay, we haven't been to Georgia yet but we're planning on a trip early next year to the whole Black Sea Eastern European area. There are some countries that we have some deep interest in over there (namely Bulgaria & Hungary & then Turkey in southern E). We loved the people of CR as well but not the country so much. Of the places we've been for safety, quality of life, friendly natives and access to other countries Thailand is winning but we are enjoying the exploration of it all!

      I spent 2 weeks in Tbilisi in 2019. Georgia supposedly has a lot of U.S. expats, but I didn't see many Americans when we were there. The country is beautiful, the government is pro-U.S., but the Russian army is just up the road in the northern regions of Georgia. There are many new apartment developments being built, between Tbilisi and Batumi, if you prefer the Black Sea. -- Georgia has a world of potential, but I would give it a year or two, and let this Russian aggression thing play out. If they have success in Ukraine, and are not completely humiliated, they may come again for Georgia.

I'm a realist and after my traveling experiences, there's no utopia where Americans, especially black Americans can live to escape racism . As neely fuller Jr. Talked about Blacks will not escape racism in another country. In my experience, we will have more problems...one for being black and one for being a foreigner.

Amazingly cheap right now and if it gets sketchy, it's easy to get out. For the lifestyle and low costs, probably the cheapest place to establish residency in the world right now, as cheap or cheaper than Ecuador.
      I think if money is not your first priority, Uruguay is a great country, very easy to get residency, very peaceful, and they seem to have figured out a proper blend of capitalism and Socialism. Pot smoking is legal, and the literacy rate is one of the highest in the world. they are also 95% energy self-sufficient, mostly Hydroelectric. More cows than people so the radical greenies will probably go after them for cow farts, but since they aren't begging for international loans, they can probably survive and sustain their stable economic status, plus their banks are highly rated for safety. Lived in hermosillo and visited Oaxaca and a few other places in mexico, and the people weren't friendly at all. Puerto Vallarta I can see myself living there. And I have no idea why Costa rica is overhyped. Its neighboring country Nicaragua was more beautiful and had great culture. Costa Rica is very expensive and they want their blacks living in the limon area. I watched a parade in San Jose one day and couldn't believe they were using this festive parade to degrade black people. The place is so expensive that many resort to staying in hostels. I will never go back there again but Nicaragua was beautiful. But the US has better relations with Costa Rica and not Nicaragua so they will promote Costa Rica to visit. I won't be returning.

      @@TheYarbros My point is that the Israelites/Negroes who are God’s Chosen People should not be trying to leave and go to other countries because the Most High Almighty said that he would return us to our original land and if you would read your History Book (the Bible) then you would know that you are suppose to separate from and not marry or date the other Nations Of People. Another point is that most so called “black people” lack knowledge (biblical) and they will be destroyed because of it. 🙏

      @@TheYarbros It’s not my beliefs but it’s the word of the Most High Almighty which has nothing to do with the world. I have found my way which is the truth. Most so called African Americans are lost and deceived and they don’t even know it. 🙏
