Excellent! I always tell people it is good luck to try to dissuade them from harming them. I spent 15 years breeding corn snakes as a hobby and hatched out about 1500 of them. At the height of baby season there would be over 300 snakes in my house. Thanks for not killing it.
for future reference if you ever run into another corn snake, it would be a much easier time for you and the snake to just grab it and set it in the bucket, they're perfectly safe to handle, especially at that size, BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT IN WHAT KIND OF SNAKE IT IS, 100%!!! you have to be careful in florida especially with all the exotics that get around
We live in west Tennessee where most people are cruel to every living thing. The Garter Snakes that live around my house keep it mice free. The cruel neighbors tagged me as crazy because I’m kind to harmless shy creatures…
When I lived on Middle Torch I had rattlesnakes under the stairs all the time. BPK had them and black racers ALL over. Wilma really took a lot of the population down. The airport in MTH used to have copperheads and coral snakes too. Long Key used to be called Viper Key waaay back in the day. I’m not as paranoid living on MTH now but I’m still always looking. 🐍
Damn Steve just reach down there and pick that corn snake up. He aint gonna hurt ya. They are very docile and harmless. I have picked hundreds of them up and never had more than a small nip and then they calm down. They make great pets if you have a big enough cage and can provide food. If not let em go. They wont hurt you!
Why didn't you just slide the old desk forward and make it SO MUCH EASIER rather than make a big ordeal out of it and stress him even more. Makes NO SENSE, especially for an outdoor guy.
When you are terrified of something, your brain does not work as it should. I'm just glad he did not kill it and just released it as careful as he could.
Great job on wrangling that snake Steve! What’s going on with the drywall and baseboard trim next to the door? Seems there is water damage. You might have to do a video on fixing that drywall.
Wow! You are SO MUCH better than Steve! I mean, he is known as a snake wrangler, and you a random stranger just OWNED him! I love all of your snake wrangling videos on your channel. Really out here just showing the world how awesome you are!
Steve is always saving, and will rescue whatever he can. The Raccoon, the Iguana, now the snake. Awesome job Steve! 🐍 😎
Looks like a corn snake. Harmless. I really appreciate you releasing it and not hurting it. Snakes are important for a healthy environment.
Thanks for being kind to snakes. They are shy and are not out to get you like far to many humans think. I wish we had more people like you. ❤️

You could see the snake flinch when you touched it.
You could tell it was thinking: ewww ... it's all warm and gross! Ugh, mammal !
I've got a beautiful corn snake back home, she has that same patterning! Such cool animals :))

Considering there is stuff on the desk like plugged in monitors there could be more fun that he wanted if he tried moving the desk.
