This is a great video, thank you for making it. I just got a used printer which doesn’t print at all. Now I can take it apart and clean the print head with my ultrasonic cleaner. I hope it works in the end. Cheers from Canada btw.
Your video is amazing, one small problem, I accidentally pulled the cable out behind the printer cartridge carriage for which you said "DON'T REMOVE THIS CABLE" ........any advice on how to get it back in? lol It's a real bear to try to push back in, not enough room to put it back in at all, totally see why you said don't pull it out
Hi, thanks for the video. I followed the instructions and cleaned the print head. After putting back together it now says there is a paper jam. Any ideas what I did wrong? Thanks
I accidently pulled out the upper part of the narrower flat cable from behind the cardridge compartment. I never did before. How can I remove the cartridge compartment from its rail?
Having the same problem. I'm not sure how accessing it from the sides help since the metal plate directly behind the print head unit is still in the way of even my tiny fingers being able to secure the cable in place.
Its on the right side wher the inks are :) when you unscrew the bolt, the element falls out (small plate), you have to put it in there, and then screw in - if you have problem - contact me :) or visit photo: zapodaj.net/3e260266df1c6.jpg.html
@@viandant5 You movie helps me a lot, but I have model epson XP 235, opening was very similar as on the movie but during opening some small part get out and I do not know what this is. It's such a small plate (propably from ink part but not chip), I have a photo or could I send you this photo somehow?
Good to see this, but my brain can not cope with this complexity, I've no idea what the fck I am looking at .... existing printer I smashed to the ground; refurbished replacement ordered from ebay. It had better fckng work. Yet more expense.

may be a paper sensor is out of position. Check the flags where the paper exits

I removed the "other" cable, the 3rd one on the print caddy... how the heck do I get access to its plug to get it back in ?
you have to dismantle the printer, starting from the side panels
Did you have any luck because I did the same thing...
