Gilman rocking with the Matflexes his entire college career is the biggest flex.
I can’t stand the importance kids put into wearing expensive shoes in wrestling. Ive witnessed so much bullying in mat rooms because kids are wearing matflexes or any other cheap pair of shoes. It’s honestly sad and I’ve even given shoes or bought shoes for kids before because of this.

I swear to God, Gilman's given away more matches than ANYBODY I know! And know, I'm not an NCAA Champion, but I still won 2 State Championships, and can tell that he's one of the most on/off wrestlers I've ever watched. I absolutely could not believe it when Cruz beat him in the Semis last year. And if I wasn't an Iowa fan, I probably would lime seeing him lose too!! It WAS really great to see Corey Clark win a National Championship too...that kid deserved it more than Gilman. Gilman GAVE to many matches away...period.
What year and what State were you a Two time Champ in if you don’t mind me asking Jeff?
I agree gilman has gave away to many key matches that cruz match in the semis was the last straw an btw suriano was out that year do to injury ..that was straightest path to a title for gilman but no he botched that
Gilman had no discipline, and he choked away a lot of matches like you said, Jeff. I was an All State wrestler twice but I never won it :(

Won a big ten championship. Wimpy sure
Michael Tomasello has an issue with his strength. Lee pinned him. Gilman pinned him. OSU wrestlers have a habit of getting pinned. Especially against Penn State wrestlers. OSU needs to work on there strength.
