I've always found that people who's hobbies turn into businesses (Racing, shooting, boating,Etc,) need to turn to other hobbies to keep their enthusiasm up. Pete using shooting and music and the shooters use racing. For whatever reason I find that interesting.
I don't think it has to due with hobbies vs. business but instead is more about the type of people who do each hobby or business. The mindset is very similar between them. I have always done construction or repair and service type work for a living and started as a young teen, but was always taking things apart or building as a kid. I started shooting as a kid as well and reloaded all of my own ammo and cast bullets. As a teen, I also learned how to work on vehicles and have done a lot on my own with owning classic trucks. While I don't race vehicles, I do like the speed and power and the mechanics. For the last 20 years, I have been a shooting competitor and I do very well at some of them and have built and highly customized some of my guns and build my own targets as well as the aluminum stock and sight bases on one of my 10/22 competition rifle. Welding and fabrication is something I do for hobby and work, as well as building machines such as my automated bullet casting machine, sizing machine, self built cnc plasma table and the cnc mill I'm now converting from a manual machine. I HATE watching sports and have no idea who that shooter in the video is. Watching racing is boring other than to see the results of the youtubers work. I'm here for the tech and personal side and would have fun if I could race, but I don't even care about watching friends, competitors, or family shoot. I did snowboard and used to ride a dirtbike but wasn't great at them. It is about doing or stimulating my brain with something constructive or productive that I can learn or appreciate. Watching random people chase a ball is pointless and watching random people race is just another person having fun or competing but with nothing for my brain to appreciate.....the fun is in the details and story as a spectator.
S10's have been some of my favorites since I was young....one of these days hopefully I'll get a chance to build my dream "Dime" platform, preferably either want a 93 2dr Blazer/Jimmy with a nice little turbo LS or LT, AWD and a T56...or, an early 2nd Gen small nose RCSB, again, turbo/twin LS or LT (preferably LT, L8T actually, with Katech heads and cam, 413ci with forged 4.215 pistons, longer forged 6.125 rods, stock forged crank, obviously getting that L8T lower comp up to LT1 ratio), again, AWD conversion, and with a T56...but the truck would be setup for street/lateral grip duties, low, full suspension goodies, chassis bracing and stiffening, big brakes, 295/18 square tire setup....so it would be small turbo based, 7-800hp tops.
Great video Pete, when showing the data will you please show the panel on the left side so we can see what channels are selected and their values? You had it up some of the time but it it great seeing the panel and not just data lines.
Hey Pete just a quick question? Hey you guys don’t use gapless rings ? We use them on all our piston engines. But I guess it’s because you built drag engines and we build time attack ex. engines. I was just wondering why you or anyone in the USA doesn’t use them? We still set the ring gaps the same as if they have gaped rings for expansion under boost. Oh and why we went to a gapless rings was because we found the engines lasted longer and the oil stays cleaner and less crank cass psi! Anyway that’s just us! I was just curious! Thanks mate.
@ yea I’m just curious what the size of the cam is in the motor , also the size of the motor , stock stroke 427 ? Or smaller like a 6.2 motor .. wouldn’t think someone would build a drag and drive truck of this caliber and run a stock stroke 6.2 motor.. but that’s just me I guess ..
@@Jenkins137he said stock stroke and stock block so around 370". Stock stroke aftermarket block would be around 388" if the builder did 4.125. for head gasket life and ring seal.
Why is it that almost every turbo LS I ever hear sounds like a damn tractor idling. The naturally aspirated ones seem to have a little bit better of a tone and beat the ground a little but man a turbo LS just sounds like a dump truck or a tractor. I mean I assume it's a firing order thing but man it's rough
Please tell me it's getting a bed! I'm not sure I understand why he built an extended cab but they really need to start including a body in the rulebook!
Pete, really enjoyed watching you do your magic on folks engines and tunes. Seeing you and CJ together was a treat. I’m looking forward to Sick Week.

Really good at shooting stuff! 😂
Where are my Katz ??
Im a doer of stuff!!😎👍
They have previously been catnapped and eaten 😖
Pete and Andy, y'all rock! Can't wait to see it run at Sick Week. Peace 🤘 🍻 💨
Boost and Varget fix everything, love it
Watched Andy on a lot of MDT content. Hell of a marksman.
I’m glad you checked for his proper identification 😂
Agreed 😂
Ill bet Andy was gettn pretty excited as he progressed because I was!
I want to see a snow drag and drive event up here in michigan😂
Ice race and drive 😂
Man they are warm boiz they wouldn't know what to do with our weather
Nice looking S10 got to love the trucks. HED makes S10s Great Again!!!
Love the fan feeding the turb-skis.

H E.D should stand for humble . Keep doing pete stuff sir its a breath of fresh air
Thanks Pete from Cape Cod, Ma.

Pete over here doing it right. Basically setting the tune up so the owner cant hurt anything. 18 degrees of timing is nothing.
Pete you are a beast man thanks for the share
I hope I’m as good as you at doing stuff when I build the 6.0 for my jeep
NA, turbo, SC?
@ nitrous
Hoping for like 500 ish at the crank, for rock crawling. Then a 200 shot or so for whenever someone on the hwy thinks they can pass 43s lol
love that you’re churning out great content 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Nice truck! The HED motor is cranking....
98psi for oil ....bc its an HED motor 😅legend
Thanks for another great video
Thanks for the video.
Most dyno videos people be like it don't make that much power. Bet this makes even more.
That’s my sons old roller nice job
Cool stuff!
Looks and sound good. Would you to tune my 01 Firebird.

GOOD LUCK ANDY 👍🏾🤞🏾🙏🏾💪🏾🇺🇲💯 WITH SICK WEEK.
Eatin' taco's and watchin' RGADS. It don't get no better at lunch.
Great content thanks for sharing
Chevy powaaa!!!😍😍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪💪
What cube motor is this ? With what cam shaft ?
I'm guessing a 370 since he said stock stroke and I'm guessing his beer money camshaft. Hopefully he responds.

@@Jenkins137 I think Pete lists his cam, but doesn't disclose all of it like many. Of course valve timing events are everything.
Was this on gas or ethanol?

What fuel type
Are you going to have to to dyno Blashemi
IMR 4064 fixes stuff too.
WHAT FUEL IN THE S-10?

Wondering who he is riding with???
😄Varget and 450 primers
30gr in a 6br. Gods load
Boost and varget fixes everything. Except in my 280ai. Varget definitely does not fix a 280.
You can tuna S-10
But you can't tune a fish
You know you are in the south when you talk about a “pro shooter”. 🤣

Twin turbo LS. Singles sound a lot better. I’ve had both.
Because you are only hearing one side of the engine. Like a straight 4 with a missing cylinder
If they don't recirculate the down pipes into the exhaust it will sound like that
@@justinwebster7761that has nothing to do with idle and cruise. Gates are closed. Nothing to recirc. Only at WOT would it change the note slightly.
