- Rare clip of canadian power pop punk band The DOUGHBOYS live on Music Works 1996. Features the late great Wiz from MEGA CITY FOUR on guitar who joined the band during the 'Turn Me On' era of the band.
Awsome Mega city four Wiz local heroes.
Loved the Doughboys. Was lucky enough to see them a couple times while I was in university. Nice to see them play Tradition here (one of their "oldies").

Ah, listening to 'Intravenus de Milo' in a clapped out muscle car during summertime, tearing around the streets visiting friends unannounced...blaring almost painfully from a tinny car stereo, the smell of vinyl car seats in the baking sun, smoking a bowl and going to all-you-can-eat buffets then playing computer games whilst playing each other all the new records we were super amped about. Nothing like teen friendship. Thanks for triggering such great memories with this clip dude. I wish those shite bands in the 1990s would have ditched the term 'pop-punk' and just called themselves 'power pop' as it would have been far more accurate in the majority of cases.
If only they could have made an album with Wiz!! Would have been total magic.

Who knows what the state of the DOUGHBOYS was at this point perhaps Kastner had told him that the band was going to disband already? That being said if he wrote and sang on another Doughoys record it would have been amazing..
