Having installed two of these, the latest on my ‘22 F250, buy a pack of those white plastic clips before you do the install. It’s almost guaranteed you’ll either break some or lose them down in the dash. They’re on Amazon and are cheap. I left the rubber pad in there and drilled through it. I felt it kept the finished look underneath.
9/32" socket would work for the stock bolts instead of the 7mm. Tackling installation this weekend, I might install a 12vdc/USB socket into the bottom of the plastic tray for the accessories I'll be mounting.

That's great advice! I like the idea of keeping the rubber underneath it.
Came out clean
It did. Great product design, simple installation, and a nice fit and finish. I'm very happy with it.

It would be a great place for an additional power source. Best of luck with the install!
Yay PM2
You know I LOVE that knife!
Why not use the ‘pro plate’ to mark the front holes? Drill the front holes from the back side, using the plate to show you where to drill the holes?
That's what a smart person would do. Not sure what that makes me! 😅
