      Fish a place long enough and you can bet your mortgage the fish will be there.

    Nice vid! I haven't had much luck yet this year, I keep getting turtled and the wind is just bonkers this spring. Bowing over MH rods and keeping a 10ft U in the line. Makes for hard fishing.

    Great video buddy! What state do you fish in? Just curious about the temperatures and water temperature this time of year. Either way those are awesome looking channel cats. Would it be the same for brown bullhead or do they wait until a little bit later in the season to start coming into the shallows? Thanks ahead of time. Can’t wait to see the next video.

    • @jigginwithjake2796
      @jigginwithjake2796  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Appreciate it Karl. Honestly, I don’t find many bullheads in my waters anymore. Used to be very prevalent when I was younger.
      I’m in central Illinois. Water temps when I filmed this were likely mid 40’s.

    Turn the drag down and tire the fish out, that way they are less feisty on land :)

      Different states have different rules. I wish Illinois allowed a 3 rod limit. I could catfish and crappie fish at the same time!

    • @eh1918
      @eh1918 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why? If you can keep them for food I don’t see the point in not allowing them for bait.
