Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and knowledge on nursing. Im 38 and transitioning from a post secondary education job to nursing. Just like you, I'm an empath too. Ever since I can remember I've always had a heart for people and I was the caretaker in my family. When my brother got into a major accident and broke his femur, I helped him recover, gave him his meds, walked him around the neighborhood in his wheelchair, made his food, etc. When my son was born with a rare heart condition (WPW Syndrome), I read a ton of medical journals and research papers to learn about it and get him the best treatment possible, and now my Mom, who has had diabetes for years, and now has stage 5 CKD. I've been researching then sharing with her what I've learned and helping her learn about access sites, dialysis, her BP meds, changing her diet. I feel like this is just a calling that's been placed on me, for years I have toyed with the idea of becoming a nurse, but I didn't believe I could pass the HESI. I took it last week and passed on my first try! Chile! lol smh... I will say that I'm not 100% sure it's what I want to do, because I am an empath and can be very sensitive and not know how to express myself fully especially when its a matter of being assertive, but I feel like God is leading me into this and I'm just going to trust him. With all of that said, I really enjoy your TH-cam channel and think God brought me here to help nudge me into the field. I literally found you because I was looking for some reviews on Sand + Fog perfumes and just by watching that one video, I was like this girl is my vibe! I've been watching faithfully ever since. Keep doing what you do, you are so inspiring and I appreciate you. Thanks again!
Hey beautiful. Reading your story , we have sooo much in common , Omg. It sounds like this is your calling 🥰. The assertiveness will come trust me. That urge and nudge you have to explore the field is not a coincidence. Follow your heart ♥️ as it leads to your purpose. Many blessings to you sis 🙏🏾
You know I just love you❤ I was just sitting here having a moment after studying for a Health Assessment test. I came in to do my facial and clear my mind and this video came up. God is definitely within you 🙏🏾♥️ thank you soooooo much
I truly admire anyone who has the passion to become a nurse. It takes a lot of hard work, patience and dedication. I have a cousin who is a nurse for many years now and her daughter is in school following in her footsteps. I also have a cousin who is a medical doctor for a few years now. I’m so proud of them. Sis, my cousins are also helping me through my journey and I so appreciate them. 😊❤️🙏🏾
Hey beauty- Yess yess& yess to each nursing question you just asked us. 👩🏽⚕️ I’m super excited for this chat. Please consider doing more if your schedule allows 💐
Thank you soooo very much!!!!! This was extremely informative, helpful& encouraging. I’m beyond grateful as well as proud of your dedication to the Nursing profession& community. ❤
I've always wanted to be a nurse. I had my daughter at 17 so that dream wasn't able to be fulfilled. My mom and family didn't push higher education. I did obtain my BAS degree in management but I have not used my degree. I am proud of myself for obtaining my degree, however I wish I would have stuck with my first love which is nursing. One of the University in my home town offers a fast track nursing program for those who have a BS degree in another field and I've been thinking about applying. Thank you for making this video!❤
I completely understand sis. I went back later in life. It’s never too late ❤️ congratulations on all your accomplishments thus far and all your future achievements 😉
Thank you for this video. I’m currently in a nursing program, this is a new field for me, I was a bit discouraged at doing this because I’m older (31) and I didn’t know if I would do well. I was a truck driver for 10 years. I’m in an accelerated program and it’s tough but I’m getting through. I’m a wife and new mom so my plate is full. Anyhow, I’m in my 3rd out of 5 quarters and my program just up and switched their curriculum right in the middle of our program. It’s so disheartening because we just did our first exams with this program and every campus failed. I’ve never failed an exam since I started. I just don’t know what to do now. The school claims that they’re working on it but I’m not too sure. I’m hanging in there but I’m a bit discouraged.
I’m sorry to hear this. I can understand how discouraging it can be but please don’t give up. Ask as many questions as you can. Speak to your dean as well. I suggest getting your questions answered in writing if possible. You’re never too old to start. I was 30 when I graduated nursing school and I got into the nursing program 8 weeks after giving birth to my twins. A total of 4 children. You can do it. ❤️. Stay in the know with the changes in your school. Ask questions and write it down. Blessings to you. 🙏🏾
