OMG what a great catch and video. I wish I could buy a car like one of these, I’d take all my friends on trips. Thanks for sharing your view, it is a great one :-))
@@FlyingYankee I would've appreciated you didn't film parts of the train, and just showed the whole train. I am trying to read all the names on the cars
Two questions. 1. Don't the grease the wheels, they squeak? 2. Do they disconnect the cars and move them to a siding at various places? Otherwise, it would be a bummer to go to a place and just pass it by.
That Iwoa Pacific car Caritas has been in the forefront for some time i think it was red and white at one time one of my favorite, can anybody give me a history?

Those six axle pullmans were heavy! gorgeous train!
Lived in West Chelmsford 20+ years ago.
Would have loved to see that.
Nice video, great that the sun came out.
When I started on the railroad in 1971 I was told the 6 axle old passenger cars were called battleships.
Due to their weight. They are known as heavyweights as they weigh in at 80 or more tons. And the sides of those cars are 1/8' thick steel.
Does anyone remember what the white flags signify (on top of the lead locomotive)?
White Flags indicate this train is an "extra" . Not a normal scheduled train.
Correct.
