- More of the new cars from the update just a bit late since weekend was very tiring so needed a break, but here it is one of the last cars from the update. The DS21 is a very peculiar car in my view, its design being very out of common while seeking that artistic view. Although the looks maybe don't go with you all for a 60's era car it's very good, not only can keep traction with its mighty 128hp but it don't give that instability while braking it, a very forgiving car even by its age. One thing that got my attention and honestly selling point is the directional lights that when you turn the steering they follow good reason to buy and stare at it for hours. In the end a slow car but with good feats on it 49,500 Is not a bad price

I owned a DS 23 i.e. Pallas and drove it about 500.000km through Europe back in the 1970th.
This definitely sounds like a blast of a time, can say too it was a very comfortable car

Nice upload, thanks! Unfortunately, the modelling of the DS's 'real world' handling characteristics is incorrect but that is not your fault. Also, no DS ever had tyres quite so wide. Nor do they ever oversteer. The handbrake works only on the front wheels so you cannot force a drift that way, either.🙏
@@loopwithers I didn’t forced a drift it was simply the bot touching the rear that caused that since I tried to enter in front of it didn’t hesitated to still pass. Also thanks for the information about the tires I was searching for information about it and nothing much was found.
@@rouding5382 oh - I never thought that it was you who drifted. It was incorrect data inputted into the bot. Bot has not been programmed correctly for the DS. I'll try and send you a useful link.

Not the best because it was let down terribly by it's archaic engine but certainly the best looking and most comfortable car. I wish someone gave it the engine it deserves, a flat six.

Very smooth ride, and perfect steering. One of my favorite cars in GT7... All tuned up, it gets around 250 horsepower for 1050 kg weight. Which makes it a very interesting car for 600PP races ;)
I thought of many builds for 600PP races but now a DS21 for that is definitely a new that is really cool

@@rouding5382 Oh, they do - one of the first hydraulics-assisted braking system in production cars. However, the car grips so well that you... don't need to slow down in corners.

Nice but the engine sound is far from reality and tires was 185 HR15 Michelin XVS-P (=185/80 not 55)

My fATHER had three DS and drove it very speed in 60 S. No limits on road in 1962 races AGAINST Mercedes 220 AND PEUGEOT 404 INJECTION every week WITH ALL FAMILY ON BOARD. An other time 😂😂😂

A DS on a racetrack on tight bends has a lot of tyre squeal. Engine note was not as I remember my DS21 & 23 EFIs.
Some cars be lacking some details which is quite sad specially when it’s about engine

The journey was 16,000 KMs and took just under 5 months. Many flat tyres, sometimes stuffed with grass and cowhide after tube failure.
Citroen have been sold continuously in Australia since 1919/20..
IDs were assembled in Melbourne from 1961 to 1967. DSs were more expensive and were fully imported as well as the Safari.

Totally absurd and unreal…the car’s philosophy is far away from that racing theme… Not even talking about the anemic and archeological traction avant engine based that deliver no torque and just sufficient power to move the car and his hydraulic system! Icing on the cake: the actual engine noise has nothing to do with that !
Ha...seems like the developers of the game needs to go back and give us more realistic game play.. makes one wonder then, how right did they get the other cars in the game..
tu n'en a jamais conduit ça se voit même si le moteur n'est pas un foudre de guerre elle attrapait facilement le 200 compteur son aérodynamisme et sa tenue de route incomparable faisant le reste et même de nos jours peu de voitures peuvent se vanter d'une telle tenue de route renseigne toi un peu avant et jette un œil au palmarès de cette bête qui à la base n'avait aucune prétention en course tu as raison pour le bruit moteur mais je trouve la video pas mal du tout et aucune des autres voiture présente sur la piste n'est à même de lui résister pas même la golf GTI
dans les années 80 j'ai eu la plus grosse peur de ma vie en voiture dans la descente qui menait au havre (cette route n'existe plus ) mon pote au volant était un furieux on a fumé toutes les voitures qui était devant tout les virages à fond à la limite du décrochage jusqu’à ce qu'on arrive au cul d'une porsche 911 il l'a fumé aussi on était à quatre dans une 2CV je n'oublierai jamais ça

J’en ai encore cinq dans l’atelier mais c est pas grave…
N’importe qui de réaliste sait que le moteur est anémique et basé sur le bloc de la traction, aucune velléités sportives pour cette auto même si à l’époque elle disposait d une certaine allonge, comparée aux simca 1000 et 4 cv des alentours…en version d origine comme celle illustrée, on est donc bien loin du compte pour aller » faire du circuit avec », si tu aimes cette auto et que tu la connais vraiment, reconnais donc que son usage donne entière satisfaction dans des conditions de roulage bien éloignées de la course…
Et oui, je sais, les légendes ont la vie dure, mais ne compte pas sur moi pour idolâtrer une auto et être aveuglé d’émerveillement… fusse t’elle une Citroën !
@@christianchappuis4152 Je suis d'accord le moteur n'est pas terrible mais le reste compense tout j'en ai eu une dans les années 80 tu pouvais enquiller n'importe quel virage elle lâchait jamais j'aime bien cette voiture mais je n'en acheterai pas une pour autant mais tu n'as du bien lire mon post car j'y dit bien que le moteur n'est pas un foudre
