The amount you use the lights does not raise the cost of the bills. The bills in The Sims 4 are determined by the amount of items in your lot, not how much you use them. So it’s pointless to turn them off

NO HIGHCHAIR, just make multi serving meals, leave it on the counter or a low table, have toddler grab serving. 3. Coffee pot for when you cant sleep. 4. Tub/shower combo, fast showers for Chelsea, baths for the kids. You'll also want to expand the kids room/remove walls for all the beds, and buy more toddler toilets (roughly 1 for every 2 kids). I did the 7 toddler challenge this way, no cheats, sold paintings, and survived, lol. But I've always wanted to do the 100 baby challenge (but I'd cheat like a mad hatter 😂). And I'm totally submitting a baby daddy, lol.
@@Htx.lunatic that's my guess, yes. I can't remember which, but being around children causes sims with that trait to either get the Angry or the Tense moodlet (I think it's Tense). Sergio makes pretty babies though, I always use him when I play a baby challenge save.
So here’s i tip I found is that if you cook a bunch of food ahead of time, when your sim is asleep you can drag the food out of the fridge and the toddler can get the food themselves. That way the parent sim can still sleep

Love this series already! You should start gardening dragon fruits because it's simple and you can get lots of money. You don't need a highchair! They can eat on the ground or on their beds. You should make like 3 party sized meals a head of time so if your busy you can set it on the ground and let the toddler pick up a plate and then put it back in the fridge.
Pro-tips: (From a Sims 3 player, who has semi does this challenge before, but am unfamiliar with what features stayed in the Sims 4) - after confirming you are pregnant, ask to "just be friends" with the baby daddy; if you have enough romantic interests you haven't ended it with, you'll get the "naughty" reputation which will make it harder to find guys willing to become love interests in the long run (until you find a way to wipe your slate clean) - once you find a potential love interest, LOCK YOUR DOORS to everyone outside your household. This way, they can't leave and will sometimes, (hopefully) even help out around the house while you catch up on Chelsea's needs. (Some even take care of the children because chances are, they are also hungry/sleepy and want them to just quite down!) free babysitter! - if you can, wait a little bit for your firstborns to grow up. This way children will go to school, leaving you free to take care of the younger children. The older they get they also start helping out with the younger children! (Just like in real life, ohhhh lord) - also, is the pregnancy test really necessary? That's $15 down the drain, and (in sims 3 at least), they find out within the next day on their own.
They took away the reputation thing in the sims 4 so no need to ask them to just be friends, this way it also helps you keep track of who you've already had a baby with and can't use again. It starts getting really hard the more kids you have XD

Weird Toast yeah, randomgamer read it. Woo-hoo doesn’t have a chance to have a baby, last I checked, so you’d only get pregnant if you click “try for baby”, which is a different command. The rule is 1 guy-1 pregnancy, so no reason this shouldn’t work.

I’m about 20 babies in to the challenge and i have A LOT of tips: you can age up toddlers after they reach level 3 in all skills, so i usually just have them grind their skills on the ipad all day lol. having multiple toddlers is so hard! i just have the mom make large servings of food and store them in the fridge and take them out for the toddlers to just grab (so that they aren’t stuck in the high chair and the mom doesn’t need to stop what she’s doing) painting is a great way to make money and it’s super easy to level up, writing is good too. the fertility aspiration trait is 3,000 , and i also set my lot traits to on ley lane and child’s play, and the other one is something that makes painting or writing easier! drop any other tips below! i’m still learning and am currently taking a break because having 7 children at a time shitting their pants and crying all the time is super frustrating LMAO
Sell the non-essentials so instead of two counters for the bathroom you have one with a cheap mirror and if you save up and get the toy chest (the cheapest one) you will get all the toys which can be used over and over, and set the lights on auto to save money.
hey, you should check out the fancy trash can- i know it's the most expensive one, but when you drag dishes or trash into it, it gives you 10 simoleans for every member of the household...
Suggestions:😁 - You should age up the kids so you have one of each age group at a time! 🥳It will make it a lot easier, especially if you only have one toddler at a time considering they are the most difficult to deal with.👍🏻 Also don’t forget to put up Jamie’s birth certificate! - You should get a bath-shower. You can get baths that have a shower built in, this will be helpful as you won’t have to worry about having long baths 😩(and not being able to clean the kids!) 🤣 - LOCK THE DOORS! If you click on the front door it will come up with lock options, you can set it to just you so you don’t get any unexpected visitors🤣 Also this way the kids can’t escape! 🤪as a side note, it looks like the back door isn’t really a door, but a open arch way!? Maybe think about replacing it... for the same reasons as above. - Set the lights to auto lock. I know there are a few people saying this, but it really does help reduce bills. (Which I believe you are due to pay- just click on the mailbox- it’s the easiest way in my opinion).😊 - get a toy box! Again I know there are a few people saying this, but it is a lot more cost efficient in the long run, as you won’t have to keep buying copious amounts of toys.😝 Of course these are just suggestions, but I think they will make this challenge a bit easier for you! You should sell all the toys and buy your toddlers tablets. The rules for this challenge say you can age them up either if they have mastered 3 skills or get level 3 in all 5 skills. The tablets can help them gain all skills quicker Edit: Thank you for the likes... I've never gotten more than 100
Try to get a toy box or chest that has lots of toys for the toddlers to do. Skip the high chair and have them eat on the floor.it may seems un ethical but its the sims you can trap a sim in a room and wait until they die.
I’m watching back and trying to recreate Kelsey’s challenge!! I even moved into the same house as her 😂 Kind of ironic but Yaffy’s first child, Amina, was angry because of her new baby sibling and that she didn’t want one *evil laugh* oh Amina you have no idea what will happen ahead of you...
Just a few tips for the future, to save money: 1. Toddlers don’t _need_ a high chair. They can eat on the floor, or anywhere they can sit (couch, bed, chair) 2. There are cheaper toys. The one you bought was for $35, but there are cheaper ones for 10, maybe even 5! 3. Cooking a party sized meal is easier in the long run. It costs the same as buying 8 meals, and it takes the same amount of time to cook. Plus, if you leave the food out, the toddlers can grab it and eat whenever they’re hungry. 4. Getting Chelsea a part-time job would really help! It’d give some extra money, and while you’re at work, the kids can be sent to daycare, which increases the kid’s needs without you having to do anything (or pay!!) ^^that ones void since she can’t get a job, whoops! Anyone else, feel free to comment more tips!
these are great, but unfortunately one of the rules of the challenge is that she has to be a stay at home mom and the kids aren’t allowed to go to daycare or have a nanny!
It's okay to leave the lot even with a baby in the house. The good thing about Sims 4 is, when you leave for work or either to travel to another lot, the game will automatically put your baby in "daycare" until you get back. I haven't played in months, so I'm not sure if any money is taken for "daycare" services. But, it's more user friendly than the older versions when it comes to babies and toddlers on the lot. No nannies needed to be hired.
I laughed because of my adult thoughts when she said, “Yaaaaay, Olive aged up! Ohhhh you’re gonna be expensive aren’t you….” It was a sort of “sad because I feel like I know what she means but she probably doesn’t mean that” kinda chuckle

Katherine 13 You’re right, you can only have 8 sims in a household at a time. But what you have to do is when a sim gets old enough you move them out.

Sell the non-essentials so instead of two counters for the bathroom you have one with a cheap mirror and if you save up and get the toy chest (the cheapest one) you will get all the toys which can be used over and over, and set the lights on auto to save money.

- You should age up the kids so you have one of each age group at a time! 🥳It will make it a lot easier, especially if you only have one toddler at a time considering they are the most difficult to deal with.👍🏻 Also don’t forget to put up Jamie’s birth certificate!
- You should get a bath-shower. You can get baths that have a shower built in, this will be helpful as you won’t have to worry about having long baths 😩(and not being able to clean the kids!) 🤣
- LOCK THE DOORS! If you click on the front door it will come up with lock options, you can set it to just you so you don’t get any unexpected visitors🤣 Also this way the kids can’t escape! 🤪as a side note, it looks like the back door isn’t really a door, but a open arch way!? Maybe think about replacing it... for the same reasons as above.
- Set the lights to auto lock. I know there are a few people saying this, but it really does help reduce bills. (Which I believe you are due to pay- just click on the mailbox- it’s the easiest way in my opinion).😊
- get a toy box! Again I know there are a few people saying this, but it is a lot more cost efficient in the long run, as you won’t have to keep buying copious amounts of toys.😝

Get a nanny, though i am not sure if that is against thr rules.

You should sell all the toys and buy your toddlers tablets. The rules for this challenge say you can age them up either if they have mastered 3 skills or get level 3 in all 5 skills. The tablets can help them gain all skills quicker

If you set all of your lights to “auto-lights” it will save you a lot of money on bills 👍🏼
Try to get a toy box or chest that has lots of toys for the toddlers to do. Skip the high chair and have them eat on the floor.it may seems un ethical but its the sims you can trap a sim in a room and wait until they die.

Just a few tips for the future, to save money:
1. Toddlers don’t _need_ a high chair. They can eat on the floor, or anywhere they can sit (couch, bed, chair)
2. There are cheaper toys. The one you bought was for $35, but there are cheaper ones for 10, maybe even 5!
3. Cooking a party sized meal is easier in the long run. It costs the same as buying 8 meals, and it takes the same amount of time to cook. Plus, if you leave the food out, the toddlers can grab it and eat whenever they’re hungry.
4. Getting Chelsea a part-time job would really help! It’d give some extra money, and while you’re at work, the kids can be sent to daycare, which increases the kid’s needs without you having to do anything (or pay!!)

these are great, but unfortunately one of the rules of the challenge is that she has to be a stay at home mom and the kids aren’t allowed to go to daycare or have a nanny!

It's okay to leave the lot even with a baby in the house. The good thing about Sims 4 is, when you leave for work or either to travel to another lot, the game will automatically put your baby in "daycare" until you get back. I haven't played in months, so I'm not sure if any money is taken for "daycare" services. But, it's more user friendly than the older versions when it comes to babies and toddlers on the lot. No nannies needed to be hired.
