In this symbolist-expressionist psychological thriller for a baritone, a mezzo-soprano and orchestra, the composer demonstrated the entire range of his outstanding musical coloring and characterization skills. A dark castle with mysterious chambers is the setting for the action.

Very good performance and the camera work is outstanding again. By gradually bringing in to the picture the vast size of the concert hall at the opening of the fifth door, the overwhelming effect of this fantastic music is greatly enhanced. Thank you.
