Fortnite Double Dab Birthday Cake

Fortnite is such a popular game! With so many creative possibilities, I was excited to make another cake. For this one, I wanted a giant fondant Fortnight logo for the top of the cake and to stay on theme I thought simple silhouettes and a bright bold color would compliment it best. I am in love with how it came together and I hope you all love it too!

Sure thing!
Chocolate Cake
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
4 large eggs,
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup hot water
1 cup milk
1 cup cocoa (I use Fry's)
Chocolate Buttercream
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
3-4 Tbsp milk or water (I use water most times or half milk, half water.
I doubled the recipe for this cake and colored with Wilton's Kelly Green.

I find images I like online and draw them up then cut them out. It's a craft knife, you can get them on Amazon or at your local craft store. Exacto is the brand I use now.
