- Here's the next chapter of my never-ending quest to metal-ify the entire brony fandom. Taps and Feather's original version was terrific, but I always thought it could do with more guitars. (I have that thought about most things, though.)

If you love Nightwish, I would recommend Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation as well :) Those 3 are awesome bands

Yet another amazing cover dude, this one really transcribes into rock music REALLY nicely
true story, Bronyfied's original MLP metal medley was what inspired me to do these. The fandom hasn't heard from him in a while though ... I wonder what happened to him?
(and thanks Fritzy! Yeah, I think this song fit my voice a bit better than some of the other songs I've done recently.)

But yeah, I actually assumed you had been inspired in some way by Bronyfied~ I think a lot of guitarists and metal based musicians in the fandom have been at some point or another~ He does tend to inspire people ;P
As for Bronyfied being gone a while. I know that it wasn't that long ago that he performed with Aviators on stage. Can't remember if he did it this year at Babscon or not, but he was around for Aviators' 2013 performances, and he has had presence on Aviator's albums in the last year and a half or so.
I'm sure he's still around, if only on Aviators' songs~ Though it would be cool to see him release more of his own stuff for sure X3
But regardless, even if he doesn't make any more music, we've still got your amazing stuff, which I think matches up to the same level of awesomeness any day ^_^

Wow! Those effects with the guitar really built for a fantastic feel. This song really is great in the genre of rock/metal.
This shit's heavier than lead. Damn fine cover of a really good song. I was a bit skeptical about the transition to metal, but it not only survived the process, it thrives. Keep on rockin'!

24TCox I have considered it. That song is too repetitive and too similar to Rainbow Factory though. I don't think it would make for a good cover.

VinylScratch37 Probably not - the song was recorded on my baritone "sub-strat" in Bass VI tuning (octave down from a regular guitar, the same tuning that I used on Architeuthis), so I'm not sure how useful the tabs would be for anyone else. The guitar parts are also pretty simple.

anyways, Bass VI tuning? I already wondered what got that low mean sound on this and architeuthis...well, a BassVI tuned guitar is out of reach, so thats it...
btw, what strings did you use then?
VinylScratch37 I'm using a Kalium Strings (www.kaliumstrings.com) custom set, .018 gauge for the high E and .086 for the low E. (I use Kalium Strings on pretty much all my guitars and basses.)
