    So much hand and arm movements for an advance class.

      I think it's to simulate sea urchins

      @@jitianen or probably like coral reefs you don't wanna touch? good point thanks!

    This is in no way peak performance buoyancy. Trim is out of wack, fins on the pool floor, arm movement, afraid to let go of the BCD hose.

    @2:15 I can't wrap my head around to understand what's the point of doing this? Aren't you not suppose to touch the bottom in the first place, ESPECIALLY, when there are coral reef all around you? In this scenario, diver should hover and maintaining trim position with the lower legs up! With good bouyancy control, a diver could get as low as he wish without touching anything.

      I think it’s just showing their training, the diver hasn’t achieved the skill yet...

      It's an excercise I believe he is doing called a fin pivot, he should be moving up and down as he breathes in and out ,it helps demonstrate and improve buoyancy control with the use of your lungs.

    Better when you introduce alligators or sharks into the confines of advanced buoyancy . Much more effective training with live animals

    Not sure what’s advanced about that. Shocking display of buoyancy control

      That's why they're training, to improve it,or they wouldn't need to be if they already had perfected it,would they.

      @@ppo2424 the clue is in advanced. They should already have decent buoyancy control already

    • @ppo2424
      @ppo2424 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rednissan001 I disagree,they should have some buoyancy control and clearly they have.Also clearly they need a degree of work on their buoyancy,what better place to do it? I don't know what agency this is,if any,but afaik there is a peak performance buoyancy speciality course and that is it
