alot of smaller houses look cobbled together of scrap wood and corrugated metal panels. bars over many windows but japan is a low-crime contry, why ? no two houses alike.
As i know Japan is famous for low crime level but those metal grids on most windows speaks for itself. Thank You for showing as it is. Much Love and Peace.
That's an incorrect interpretation of the bars. I'm not saying that Japan is crime free but the majority of the homes with bars on the windows are A) homes built about 20 years or so ago when crime was higher and more importantly B) the windows with the bars are usually laundry or bathroom windows which are often left open for ventilation. There's the additional element of vertical and horizontally barred windows as a part of traditional Japanese architectural details.

@@SubwaveObjective If living there is your standard of the truth then your perspective is also wrong because you don't live there either. I don't have to live somewhere to do a few seconds of basic research into facts vs making assumptions about a different culture based on the one I live in.
