At the same time, there is no chance, at least it the immediate future that the team is moved out of Baltimore. There is legislation with $600m in state funds earmarked for stadium improvements that there is no way MLB lets them walk away from to relocate. Angelos, the owner, is trying to put in additional legislation giving him development rights in the area around the stadium and that is the hangup, as the State has real and valid concerns about that. Especially considering the Ravens are right next door and already signed their lease. Angelos is a terrible owner and hopefully the other reports of a possible sale come to fruition.
