I love the creativity and difficulty of Amon-Ra St. Brown’s catches… and how he got the Detroit Lions mascot Roary (nicknamed Kat Williams by the commentator) and his brother Equanimeous St. Brown involved for his finale catch. Future Super Bowl Champions Detroit Lions FTW.
That was awesome and I can’t believe went out over the Lions Mascot and they are both actually brothers and they always have played each other because they are the NFC North of the Lions and the other came from the Packers and Bears of 2021 and 2022. Just like Justin Jefferson did last year in the Pro Bowl and caught it with the one handed catch over the mascot. Nice to see Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase next to each other talking and Ja’Marr Chase was showing him something on his phone.
I don’t like a lot of the other competitions for the pro bowl but this one has potential to be good if they got some practice on the mats or maybe a format that’s more normal motions so they can do it better or more practice time but it’s go potential but we also need more competitors in it the Group was too small I feel like for this event
The best catch competition has a lot of potential... There needs to be more structure tho, A) have the receivers run routes however with these routes they can get props like having a car parked on the field. Or hoops of fire. Or catch it between to defenders with one hand. Or something like the combine drills where they have to catch multiple passes running in a str8 line. B) Have the receivers demonstrate skill drills where they have to run the route correctly, where the route is time. Routes like in and out's. Slant and go's or hook and curls. C) Then a drill where they get to show off their footwork and hand eye coordination. Sidelines catches, tip drills and over the shoulder fade routes
His motive could be iffy, but I wish more people would realize that he is so used to being on the sidelines, or around the side, on the field, that I don't think he was thinking about those girls. He was more embarrassed at not catching the ball. He's seen cheerleaders before. it's not that deep .
