Didn't Thomas make a TikTok about the Sides' weaknesses? Patton's was technology, Virgil's was fire, Logan was skipped, Thomas's (not a Side, but whatever) was he can't act to save his life, and Roman's was crippling self-doubt mixed with overwhelming hubris. It's canon!

I re watched the SvS part 2 episode again and when Patton asked Janus about when u have to stop apologise to make u realises there not good from u it might just be me but for a moment I though is Patton thinking that Roman made so much mistakes that he didn’t want Roman round anymore. It may just be me thinking the wrong thing but it happened right after Roman sank out.Then again he could be talking about himself. I just want to know others opinion on that moment??

I feel so bad because it is so obvious that Roman is having a difficult time and being hard on himself. He doesn’t think his opinion matters because it is the supposed “wrong” one and thinking he is getting in the way. Roman is my favourite character because i relate to him. We are similar. He thinks that he is in the wrong but is trying his best to hide it so that no one will question if he is ok or not. Also there has only been 2 sander sides vids out since SvS. Roman seems fine with Virgil because he wasn’t there but also Thomas.I also feel like he is bottling everything up so no one will no how he really feels. He fells like they don’t trust him anymore. I can’t wait for his arc because I want to see what he dose with those emotions but I also want it to tech us something about Roman that no one knows yet. I love Roman ❤️but he is definitely hurting after the SvS episode.

I watched sander sides more than a year ago and everyone was hating on roman because of his ego but I still love him alot idc I find him iconic asf His definitely insecure and has his own problems but nobody understands and mostly Looks towards Virgil instead

I had to come back to add something: remember when after Roman talks about how he feels like he's steering Thomas wrong and spills out most of his feelings in SvSR, and Thomas says right afterwards something like "No offense but that's the stupidest thing you've ever said"? Yeah, that still pisses me off. I mean, I get that what Thomas meant was something like "You think so lowly of yourself when you're actually good, that's stupid" but it still wasn't the right response to someone who just spilled their guts out about how they feel _because of the way they've been treated so far_ . You can't ignore a person at all times, be mean to them then call them stupid when they express how they feel about themselves because of the way *you* treated them. Roman felt like he was in the wrong because of how the others kept ignoring him or disagreeing with any of his decisions in the series so far. Instead of assuring him that he is needed, or apologizing for treating him that way, Thomas just goes "haha you're stupid".

In the SvS videos, both Patton and Janus were to blame for making Roman feel so terrible. Janus obviously had a good motive and was doing the right thing, but in order to get it done, he used Roman as a pawn, flattering his ego and playing with his feelings in order to get Roman to support him. As much as Janus is my favourite character, I still hate the way he went about that and I'm not surprised that Roman no longer believes his compliments after. As for Patton, he started the whole issue by forcing Thomas to be selfless instead of taking care of himself (funny, because in the Hogwarts video, Patton was the one who said that the new hair color makes Thomas happy and good mental health is important). And Patton, too, roped in Roman, guilt-tripping him for wanting to follow his wishes and reminding him that he should be noble and selfless. Altogether, in these videos, I feel like Roman was being pushed and pulled and puppetted by these two sides. No wonder he almost had a mental breakdown in the end. It's really hurtful to see people ignore someone who seems confident, even though they constantly try to talk about their feelings. Both Roman and Logan are in dire need of an arc. They're both once-confident people who are now insecure, ignored and try to do the right thing even though it pains them so much.

The only sides who've really seemed to notice how roman hasn't been doing well is patton and virgil, with patton telling the others that they were being mean and they shouldn't stiffle Romans creative whimsy in the 12 days of christmas ep. And virgil added "no one hates you" in the puppets ep. Patton probably notices it because he himself would hide his sad feelings, making it easier to notice when someone else does it too

_This is just a thought that I’ve had about Roman and Remus that I think is really interesting and I wanted to share; enjoy!_ I like to think that Roman has mostly censored creativity, whereas Remus has mainly uncensored creativity. Because Roman already has the censored part of creativity, Remus dwells within only the uncensored parts. Maybe he can’t really do censored creativity, or maybe he just chooses not to; that’s besides the point. I believe that, although Remus has darker ideas and isn’t as liked by the other sides because of his role, he has, in turn, traded that for lack of care about what others think. He doesn’t really search for acceptance at all and he doesn’t seem to care about opinions people have of him. Roman, on the other hand, doesn’t appear to have those dark ideas his brother does and, because of that, is more liked my the other sides for his role. Instead, however, he has self-esteem and pride issues. Acceptance means a lot to him and he really does care about what others think. Now, if Roman were to realize that his brother isn’t self-conscious and couldn’t care less about the thoughts and opinions of anybody at all, he would, for the first time, be genuinely jealous of his brother. That, more than anything, would freak him out; being jealous of his brother, despite him being the very thing that he has specifically stated he wishes he wasn’t more than anything else? Well, I can’t even *begin* to state the amount of character development and long-lasting effects that would have on Roman. _Just something to think about - potentially a line of thought to keep you up at night. Your welcome :)_

To lift the mood, I just thought about this. So you know how Remus and Roman were once one person? What if when they split like they both got like half a brain. Like imagine their both arguing and one of them says “See this is why i shouldve gotten both halves of the brain!”

I just realized something. The reason Roman immediately turned down the idea that He could be a Slytherin is not just Because Slytherins are portrayed as evil(Not all just those who actually follow Voldy) but also because their signature color is Green. What Side identifies with the color green? R E M U S. The one person Roman doesn't want to be like
