An American Symphony

Arranged for saxophone quartet. It is an injustice to not have at least one complete score of An American Symphony on Musescore and TH-cam to celebrate.
Subway Sax Battle
มุมมอง 212K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I transposed practically note for note (with a few exceptions) the subway sax battle up until 3:11 in the video below. This epic arrangement is for Bari and Tenor Sax. I spent way too much time listening to every second over and over again to get the rhythm and notes right. Enjoy. Thank you to th-cam.com/users/sapphireadizes for being an exceptional musician. th-cam.com/video/1_9IMZcbKHQ/w-d-xo...

It's a crime against humanity that You Got a Friend in Me is not included
1:29 and onward is amazing the progression of their high notes until that final long note is so nice on the ears
think about rap battles, now, what if we did something similar but with saxofonists?
Too much reverb, you can't hear a single voice!
Could I have the musescore arrangement for this please? It sounds really good and I would like my school's sax quartet to play this! Thank you so much!
Yep, just email me at drgarner36@gmail.com
@@drgarner36 Can I have too please ?
i re-voiced this for my brass band (using the music posted on musescore) and its a great challenge! we have alto, tenor, and bari saxophones, as well as trumpet, trombone, and tuba, so I've doubled up some parts, it sounds really powerful. thank you so much, really great work. these are great pieces!
Very close to the OG. Almost perfet, but nothing could ever truly replicate that incredible battle 🤣
also... underated what the frick... 184,000+ people watched this vid and you have 293 subs, that's just dum... people.... sub to this man.
Which song?
Thanks for making me win the school talent show with my friend.
FNF songs be like
0:19 to 1:19 is the sound of determination.
On 0.75x speed it feels like a medieval battle between 2 great nation.
This is generally one of my favourite songs and it was created on the spot 😂
"ohh shit"
I really want to know who the bari player is now
When two bards both nat 20 on performance checks.
not the video we wanted but the video NYC needed
You could make a show out of this
Omg hhhhhhh
I could do this on my snare.
0:22 sounds like an epic boss theme
1:29
You can hear them getting a feel for each others style and adjusting according to what they hear
i wanna create a trap beat on this...
Someone compiled all of the video taken during that event and made it into a 6-minute masterpiece
The fact that Careless Whisper makes an appearance at 1:00 is that much more based.
We only needed a singer that was determined to do it the whole ride, otherwise this was a great show!
There were some beautiful melodies, counter melodies, harmonies, and amazing dynamic parts between the two, all of which was entirely improvised. This is exactly what you get when you get two people who know their instruments and art so well, that when they got together, it was like two people who had played together their entire lives getting together to jam. I remember watching this for the first time, and just being in awe when the first sax came back in at 0:16, and then dropped the sustained G...I knew it was gonna be epic. And it was. I almost like to think of that sustained G as the acceptance of the challenge. Like, I see you. Let's go.
Would love to see you transpose this th-cam.com/video/AH6naKl5uoE/w-d-xo.html Fairfield Central Trombone Fanfare! or th-cam.com/video/4eyC0B7znaU/w-d-xo.html Carolina Crown's Hornline Drops The Hammer In Houston!!

Any idea of what song that comes from? It’s driving me crazy
You got the notes for an alto version?
My favourite part is when they just start playing chameleon lmfao
Can someone put music list that those guys use in the video? Especially this part 0:54
I think you can't find it i mean challenger were leading and the first guy were just following it
starting note after 4 measures of rest is a high F sharp if I’m correct
can you make an alto sax version for this??? i play the alto sax and my friend does the bari and we want to do this duet
0:59 Careless Whisper lick noice
I wish I would've learned how to play the sax instead of the trumpet now
Is there any sheet music I can download for this?
Yeah im definitely playing that bari sax with a tenor buddy we watched the train video and that inspired us so much
Sounds like a boss music called "battle of the sax masters"
What program is this?
woah
This is an amazing work dude :)
Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! Dear performers! I congratulate and wish you all the best to perform well in more and more pieces like this. I like saxophone quartet for it gives the warmth of playing duplication of same copy of melody on both upper and lower octave with addition of two more notes in between on foot-pumped harmonium when all of you simultaneously play.
hate to break it to you mate, but this is musescore Midi playing, not real performers
Its not the same Withoutclapping
The definition of "player has joined the game"
This could abosulutely be a fnf mod
THIS VIDEO IS SO CLOSE TO 100K VIEWS IT’S AT 99.5K
can someone link me the musescore
