For many years timespinner was my favourite 2d metroidvania game and now im so happy thats going to have another game

Please dont hire people to write the story like the first one! Game is very cool, dont need these things.

How gay are the characters though?

I hope the Co-op is still in this one. As minor as it is, helping as a familiar is still fun and it means I can experience greatness with my brother.

I hope the second game is longer than the first one

If Lunais is in the first Timespinner, then her stepsister Auria will be in the second Timespinner which will take place after the Lacheim incident. I guess that Cieg will need his mom, Auria's help and protection this time around. Yes, Cieg is Auria's oldest son. Each time Auria falls in battle, Lunais will be Auria's crutch.

please just don't make every character say a gay empowered line, I love the first game.

OMG OMG OMG!!! Please, please tell me that you'll consider to port it on Xbox Consoles after the steam release. I loved so much the first one, it is one of my favourite Metroidvania ever❤

Okay, sequel to one of the better Metroidvania's of its time, which is saying something, as there are some really good ones out there. The story was well paced, and with some interesting ideas to it given the duel time gameplay, though sadly only had the vines as direct interaction between the two eras other than bosses. Beyond that, the crystal system, and the upgrades found therein were fantastic designwise, as they offered quite a lot of customization to how you played, with arguments to be made that the 'best' varied by playstyle, allowing the player to discover what they enjoyed most and play with that(for instance I mained the Lightning Orbs, with Light Wall spell for movement). It also came with good difficulty mods for the various modes it offered, which went up high, but offered rewards for playing on the higher difficulties, and offered the player the ability to, if they got stuck, grind past the worst bits, with some bonus challenges after unlocking everything if you really wanted to challenge yourself. The pets appear to be improved in this one, if the trailer is any indication. A good thing, because while the dragon and its many forms were interesting as an idea, they oftentimes did too little to impact gameplay, even if you bothered to grind them to max level in the final pyramid they simply didn't fire rapidly enough or do enough damage per hit, and their other effects were not really obvious(The Crow raised money, and it DID work, but it was also not really up there enough). Anyway, enough rambling, I look forward to playing with this one again, and am curious if you'll establish an ending, or if this is going to be a new timeline entirely.

I have the first game on switch did not know there was a sequel now.

Hello. I want to report the missing feature you didn't add it on Xbox console. I check on achievement on my Xbox to see any of them have unlock, sadly none of them have unlock while I check Journal under Feats, it shows there but not on Xbox achievements. So, I think it high time for you to update on Xbox. I check my Steam account and it show unlock achievements list.

Always loved that not only is Timespinner inspired by Igavanias, but very specifically _Order of Ecclesia._ I decided to pick this up again for the first time in over 5 years, to finally platinum it (had left 2 trophies hanging). And as I was looking into what i had missed, lo and behold, a sequel was announced last year! Thanks!

I had fun with the first Timespinner, though I found it to be on the short side compared to other Metroidvanias. Hopefully this one will have some more meat on its bones.

Terraria x Castlevania?

I just finished playing Timespinner 1 and enjoyed it. I can already see some major improvments in the art for T2, particularly the character portraits and some of the environmental features. Looking forward to it!

I'm just finding out about this sequel!! the first one was literally exquisite, an absolute joy to play and I'm very excited for how it can be improved even further!!!

I hope timespinner 1 & 2 will be ported to android someday. Still hoping.

I'm intrigued. The first game had cool ideas and a lot of potential, but left me rather disappointed. Hopefully this one knocks it out of the park.

I don't know why but when ending part comes with title that sound kind of reminds me of Alundra ost, i can't really explain why but sound it like Alundra ost.
