What a beautiful disaster. The RNG on wild, natural, reward type cluckmechs was not very good. It seems like you want to avoid going to the shop if you get offered even decent reward mechs. That mega explosive sardines were amazing at clearing out the destructibles on the map though, and the "unbuildable crater" only lasted like a couple seconds, so that upgrade goes up a few tiers IMO, even on some of the other mechs. Anyway, fun run. Volcano is worthy of a GG NT, especially on this difficulty.

You got to see how population can be good. Yeah the trash 20-30 damage is amazing but you don't find it easily, it's basically a luck of the draw. Lots of powers relied on putting population, so getting rid of them can be useful especially if you are able to populate quickly, you stunlocked one pangaru (I think it was the boss). That's why frag a jam and trash boosters can be good, one is a 0 cost for the amount of population, the other is twice as much for 1 and depopulates which in your build was immensely valuable cause it applied a ton of debuffs in addition to the ones you were playing. I don't have the game but that seemed logical to me. The trash garbage wasn't working, it should add 1 more card draw everytime you fuse it. Good video, I like that you make a let's play, I really want to be sure for a forseeable purchase (the lack of fusionpedia is very underwhelming, I still don't understand what fuses with what. It should be keywords so not hard to implement in an organic way though sometimes it's not consistent)

The only thing that i despise about this game is the shop music it's super loud and annoying lol

For reference, the 'gather' on the dogtooh trap means every now and then, enemies that hit the trap will be 'sucked in' and held there for a second or so, grouping them, and of course making them slower. I think the word 'stun' or 'hold' might have also worked. (it's pretty solid, especially adding poison or bleed to it/near it, more time for it to get wounded, and slowing down enemies even a bit never hurts.)

Oh! you are riht that the 'cluckmech' healing bonus does not apply to you, tried doing that in a run, only bonuses that work on you is when towers buff other units, or the specific talents you learn at the end of worlds. I had my first win with the mirage tower and the chicken character (2nd setup the one that gives ammo and pierce but reduces damage!) the mirages ended up granting attack and attack speed per kill to everything in range, and had 'first 10 shots are piercing sharks' and one had 'attacks explode' so, you can guess numbers got dumb fast. Ended up doing 1k a bullet with the chicken in the later stages by the boss battles XD. destroyed the final boss haha

inmune to elemental damage feels free for battle one. even if the +1 energy is not a very good bonus. (not bad at all just.. underwhelming heh).

Those items were so frustrating. Not even _that_ bad, but nothing was ever good either. Except the mega heal sticks. Somehow those were godlike and got you out of a handful of situations. I guess it came down to turning your blue into a half red since witch does so much other random stuff. Very cool.

The altar doesn’t always give you a creature, only if one of the cards are creatures I think. 3 basic Trash makes Volunteers!

Great run! That dragon was ruthless. 50:00 I think Witch is good in a vacuum, but the slot is just so competitive that it's hard to justify taking anything other than Prophet, Surgeon, or Doctor. I'd only take her if my Orange and/or Blue are already solid tier 3s, or if I was absolutely desperate for cleanse. 58:00 Weaver is great in Cisab (dodges The Hand and avoids Hexia's spell punishment) and magic comps (especially custom all-blues), but otherwise a little weak for the slot. But of course you wouldn't use those for unfair streaking. 1:29:30 This is a really weird corner case. The damage calculation sees that Berserker will die before Fanatic does, so it doesn't count the damage he would take from the cursed item, but when you heal him, now he will be alive to take that damage, so it gets included.

at 1:37:44 there is a really cool interaction with copy cat, double use. You can play double use, play copycat side once, play another side, the copycat will still have one use left (and will copycat last dice). Though in this scenario it did not matter that much.

I've never heard of this game, it looks very interesting. Thanks for putting out these quality videos and putting more indie games on my radar ❤ If you don't mind recommendations, I think you should check out Trash of the Titans. It's a Turn-Based Tactics Roguelike releasing into Early Access tomorrow (I think), I thoroughly enjoyed the demo and the devs recently gave me an early key to the EA and it's definitely something that might be up your alley 😊

ngl surprised the move wasnt to give singularity to the sorcerer for a 3 reroll side nullifying that curse big time if it hit but i can see how insanely RNG that would be EDIT: OOH hoping and praying he goes singularity on valkyrie for 4 revive and 4 shield rescue but i gotta sleep so idk if hes doing it already edit 2: yayy :D

For once an absolutely average and boring Sorcerer didnt completely brick. Blessed run. So many items. I forgive your sickness addled brain for missing a few combos. Though I was also sweating it a little but with First Aid Kit / Pauldron lol.

Frag a jam seems to me very much like a card for population build. I don't have the game because I am trying to learn more before buying, card descriptions seem a bit janky to me. Frag a jam does twice damage based on population for 1. So it's lethal for most little creatures and a good chunk of damage to tanky ennemies. I might be wrong but depopulating an ennemy in a population oriented build means you can repopulate easy to proceed for a stunlock approach. That's why bosses have a shit ton of population bar. Frag a jam allows you to deal damage and an opportunity for a new stun. You went for the big direct damage so you don't find a place for this card and that's normal but look at the bird that deals 15 damage for 0 and destroys population, the rocket gives 0 cost defenses if it's fully populated. Look at the piercing population unicorn. I mean I am sure you can make a cool build. The Genkidama is the mega powered energy ball that San Goku uses against Boo in DBZ ;)

Only suggestion I would make for this run, is to look at upgrades you can get for towers maybe in your off time. Because the wasp tower has an upgrade for a wasp with a Gatling gun and even a plus 10 to attack makes it hilariously overpowered

I think I spent half of the video screaming "you have abacus" at my TV. This one hurt to watch Edit: Ok you finally got it, thank you. The most infuriating part was knowing how good you are at this game, but making misplays because you're sick :/

People have already mentioned the poisoned/immunity curses, but another indicator of the sickness making your brain fuzzy is the pauldron/first aid kit 😅 Still, Self-shield showing it's strength again. While you had Knight still, you could have also had the +1 rightmost ring and thimble on someone for a free Parry. I'd really love to see you work with Greens, too.

Too bad about the screen shake. There is something up with that snail. The enrage bar just instantly fills for some reason.

don't tell me you just passed this first run "poison two to all" +11 "poison immunity to all" -3 XD that would've been straight up a regular hard mode run, with a bonus invulnerability to poison

There were some massive pivots in this one. You must be getting really good, because the whole second half seemed like it was held together with duct tape and memes, but it was actually going well the whole time lol.

This game is absolutely going into my library, the sheer style and the quite nice gameplay will probably get me some playtime, plus it's a small brazilian studio, so i am obligated to buy it as a sucker for local games

Cards created in battle don't persist outside of battle in general. Thats why the cannonball didn't proliferate, though just from reading it I also assumed it would proliferate and was a cool pulverize trait synergy piece on first read.

Maybe u can do it ? the POISON WALL CHALLANGE!!!! (5 Grays team that u can use poison to scale dmg if u think its too hard)

I'm close to wrapping up Chrono Ark and am looking for another game to add to the queue. Between this and Zet Zillions, which would you recommend/have more fun with? Different genres, I know, but I'm not picky for a certain type right now. I'm a little concerned about the depth of content for both, but both also seem kinda fun.
