i really don't have enough money to buy these very impressive and beautiful Effects sir..and my one and only boss distortion stamp box is one of my things that have been destroyed by the typhoon...if any one can lend me those even if its defective i'll accept it..coz u see, only few have these in philippines...

Would love to see a post-80's application of the Gt-10 in a video demo. This was uploaded in 2008 and all of this music seems straight out of the 80's!... I've owned a GT-3, GT-5, and GT-6. They all were quite useful!! Then switched to a Vox Tonelab SE, because I wanted better overdrive tones. Though, the Tonelab didn't have as flexible of an effects routing system as the Boss GT series, nor did it have synth effects. At the time, warmer drive tones was the priority... I always use tube amps with these units and it works out pretty well. The trick is just don't overload your tone with too many effects on at once. Just use what you need for the song. Keep in mind you're already sacrificing some tone by running through one of these things in the first place. It's best to minimize that by not loading on any unneeded effects. As well, at the end of the day, it worked out best when I would just bypass the amp models altogether and use a separate boutique overdrive of my choice and play through the actual real amp of my choice. And, When I did turn on one of the amp models, I would use it as a separate overdrive/distortion pedal to add certain colors of drive. Then bypass it when not needed. I've yet to play through a GT-10, but it seems they've really improved on the amp models since the GT-6. I switched to using all individual a while back and sold my ME processors... I wanted the best tones possible and true-bypass capability as I'm a professional touring musician. Thousands of dollars later and after many broken pedals from the rigors of the road and fly dates, the multi-effects processor is once again looking attractive! Just simpler to maintain and set up as well as much less of a liability cost-wise and functionality-wise!! Less cables, etc... You will most likely get some tone sucking, but if you want to use effects, you have to make that choice based on what you want to produce musically...The GT-10 and GT-100 look like great units. Just wish someone would upload better demos! Something post-80's that and that showcases some of the other effects as well if not more than the amp models. If you want a certain amp sound, just go buy that amp!! And, let effects be effects!! That's the way I like to use these processors... Anyway... my 2 cents...

Don't waste your money Ihave had one for 2 years and can only get 2 decent sounds out of it. so please think before you buy 1.

I use nothing but PEAVEY KB series amp/monitors when using Multi effect pedals. as a matter of fact most company's will tell you not to use an amp that has other effects or heavy distortion. CLEAN AS CLEAN CAN BE is the PEAVEY KB monitors. They are great for everything. most have a mic input, XLR IN/OUT for stereo effect. and most Multi effect pedals sound fantastic through them. I have the KB2 right now but had the KB 4 with 15" & 4" tweeter. Can't beat them folks.
