Stoat Seat Bag
มุมมอง 1.1K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Designed to be the only “Day Ride” Seat bag you’ll ever need. The waterproof Stoat securely carries your tools, tubes, and spares without any zippers or velcro to get gritty and gummed up. The Stoat is the Shrew's little brother - A single TPU strap snugs the bag in between the saddle rails and will not budge in rough terrain (similar to our indie rail style attachment). The interior of the bag...

Nano Panniers: The Next Generation
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
When you need the cargo capacity that a rack provides, but need something that won’t get in your way when the going gets rowdy, Nano Panniers are the ticket. At only 4" wide the load stays tight to the bike on singletrack and will not get in your way on those nasty hike-a-bikes. An external compression system keeps the bag snug at various load levels. The devil is in the details on our rack att...

can anyone confirm if it fits a durston x-mid 1? hopefully it's back in stock soon..
Fantastic
Would these work with the jones H bar
Yes, they just don't cover the front loop part.
Look awesome!
Daily winter commuter here. I've used the Williwaw Pogies for a few seasons now. Looking forward to these
Brilliant. Love this video,well done
What is the benefit of having electric shifters? Is it just smoother? Does it decrease the chance of the chain breaking while shifting? I'd hate to have to rely on charging my shifters...
You forgot the kitchen sink
Lael is not just an incredible athlete but a truly awesome human being. Thank you for creating this amazing video, offering motivation and insights for all of us aspiring bike adventurers. Your passion and dedication shine through, making the journey even more exciting for the rest of us!
Yeah, I’ve been curious about Lael’s packing methods ever since my wife and I met her in 2018 on the store porch in Ovando. We were SoBo, Lael was NoBo. We already knew her name and face as famous for ultra endurance riding. But the ah-ha moment was realizing her efficiency with the resupply stop. She was done shopping, bike packed, eating a snack and appearing totally relaxed while talking with us. The two men riding with her appeared capable and well equipped in their own right. But the contrast was stark. While Lael was relaxed and pleasantly conversing these guys were continuing to rush their repacking and could barely utter a hello to anyone. Not dissing the guys, simply noting that they appeared urgent. The 3 of them were trying to beat sunset to wherever they planned to sleep that night. It was merely interesting to realize that the same 20 minutes that squeezed them into a rush was an abundance of relaxed time for Lael. I’m the type of bike packer that needs half the morning to get the bike rolling and my resupply stops are “fast” if they are anything less than an hour. So seeing the contrast between Lael and these apparently capable guys really intrigued me to study this aspect of dialing in efficiency.
@Revelate Designs - Are you going to do it again? Would love to see this trip recreated by the OG crew. Maybe w one of those new Surly 6" tired bikes!
Does the mag tank 2000 fit where it meets the stem of the bag better than the gas tank? My top tube head/ tube angle to too acute for the gas tank so as I turn it flops left and right
Love your video - and great idea to run the hybrid pedals and bring the Hokas for the hike a bike sections!
How did I miss this??? I panicked for a moment. I thought I owned the full Revelate collection. Then I gathered myself and considered why would I even need this? This thing is bizarre... You got me! April 1st arrived late this year haha 😉
Do you not bring bear spray for grizzlies?
holds the record while having asthma. what a boss.
Dynamo hub would drop that weight
Bot my Nook today. We'll see...
I really love this "how-to" video. It reminds me of the time I called for tech support and had to strain to hear what the guy was saying because he was blasting opera in the background. Lose the damn music. I didn't come here for that.
Watched many times and still 'Nails' is the only word.
Any info on the Ruckus mount?
She's so full of life. I love this girl!
I always eat my fritos when I'm on the extensions
hard to get this brand in asian 😢 hope soon have seller in asian selling this brand
Exactly what I was looking for in preparation for my 4000 km ride this summer. btw, in your video, you have aerobar bridge (RUCKUS?) to which you have attached lights, where can I get that bridge?
Excited for Pitchfork and also for Lael Wilcox that's currently using it for her round the world record attempt!
Would it be practical/stable to use the harness without the dry bag? Want the pockets but not sure about the weight on the aerobars.
So you want to get aerobars for mounting the pockets to them? Or why would you be worried about their weight? Aerobars are in any case of longer distances well worth their weight. But it doesn't look like it would be well suited to use without the dry bag.
No, I have aerobars. I want the pockets. I don’t want to mount the dry bag?
@@rjwaldsc Well, the aerobars themselves will serve any weight well that you put in the pockets or the dry bag. To me it just seems like the pockets would create a space open to the airflow but overall closed. That would have a bad drag coefficient for that part of the bike set-up. Depending on how you might get the bottom sinched up without the dry bag you might have sufficient clamping around the aerobars, but I am not too sure as to how they actually mount. Do you want the pockets for everyday riding? Or a long-distance tour or race? From my own experience I can say that a dry bag underneath the aerobars offers quite a utility boost. The pockets would likely offer an equally great amount of utility. I can't really judge their viability without the dry bag; that should be an opinion formed by experience.
A unique and great looking bag.
Oh man, that thing looks rad. Food and buff/gloves/hat storage. Perfect for Tour Divide.
Thanks Colin! We're excited for folks to put it to good use on the Tour Divide.
No water filter?
What true spirit. You are the exact example of an adventurer
Now show us with cables lol 😂
incredible video!! Did you have any camera crew support or did you shoot all of this yourself?
You don't 'seam' to complete the job.
Thank you for sharing this with me. I ride a stationary bicycle in my garage. However; I feel your video will be a real good informative for my niece who is an avid bicyclist.
What is the minimum space of the seat tube to be able to install the bag?
It's ok to use a sleeping mat Lael no judgment😂
Lael is the awesomeness cyclist. So down to earth and I love her excitement . I couldn't help but notice the irony in her gear setup though, Revelate bags on Specialized EPIC. Most people don't know this but Revelate Designs was originally founded as Epic Designs. You guessed it, Specialized does what does and sent a cease and desist letter to Eric and instead of getting into a legal battle with the big bullies Specialized are, changed the name to Revelate Designs. I had no idea Specialized owned the word epic🤷♂️
I smell something fishy here. And it is not my fart.
🤔😋
Would be even better with more straps and colour coded....
What straps do you use on your handlbar dry bag setup? thanks!
Thank you for sharing. I have seen every video related to Lael Wilcox many times; and I have learnt a lot from them. What about the hydration pack.
Giv'r Lael!
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve watched this. Absolutely incredible taking this on in the winter. So, so much respect. I’m sure I’ll be watching this again.
Thank you SO Much for sharing all of this great inside info with us. Your consistently positive attitude is super-inspirational!! Good luck always!
Bought my "cranny" today!
Thanks for your support! We hope you love it!
Lol. Totally respect the way you're doing the ride but my packing will likely be 10 times the weight you have. But I also won't come close to your time on the trail.
Annie, I think you're so courageous! You are my hero!! I wish we could hang out together in warm cafes and talk bikes and adventures.
You are amazing
