Yes it’s my daily I’ve had it for almost 14 months now with 29.5k miles on it. The first 6 months I was doing more in town and running errands which gave me 15.8 average MPG now that I’m doing more highway/toll miles at 70-90mph I get about 19-20 MPG average. Let’s just say it’s been a cool daily and reliable for the most part I’ve gotten a few minor check engine lights but it was always just the system being buggy and typically auto corrected itself,never went into a limp or loss of power. One common thing is the whole no start with all the lights coming on,it’s said to be caused by a failed update and can be fixed by unhooking the battery for 5 minutes or just let the car sit for 20-30 minutes - it’s happened 2 times at the 7k miles and 13k mile mark. MAINTENANCE •1k oil change- didn’t baby it for a so called break in. •oil change Every 3-3,500 miles after that •change out air filters every 5-7k miles or get the steeda high flow reusable filter and clean every 1,500-2k Aside from that there’s not much to really be done untill you get closer to 10k and 20k which even then are still basic dealer inspection of parts/suspension/coolant flush/software update etc If you plan on picking one up please inspect the paint/steering wheel alignment/trim fitting/bumpers… a decent amount of cars have been effected by bad QC 2025’s are said to be in better shape. Oh a few more things the upgraded b&o system isn’t all that over the base 9 speaker system and I recommend getting a performance pack that has the oil cooler if possible - these cars run hot if you like to drive spirited at all.

@@monochrome5.0 Wow I didn’t expect you to give me this much info but it’s much appreciated. I’ve been wanting a 5.0 for years especially after the gen 2 was revealed in the need for speed movie. I’ve heard that the gen 4’s have been running more hot as well. I was going to get a base with performance package in the grabber blue. Haven’t decided if I want the 10 speed or manual yet? an old sn95 if you want an honest opinion. I picked up a 98 cobra for 7500 (which is cheap for what it is) but vest advice is not to go out and get a loan in highschool for these cars.

Hey man sorry I’m just seeing this, but the guy down below is right in terms of not getting at loan out right now unless you are blessed with parents that can do that for you or you’ve been saving up for a good down payment if not buying it outright but if I was to do this is high school I probably would have went and got s197 or a motorcycle. I was lucky enough to build my credit and have a good decent job that I could get this s650 at 25… it’s been cool but dammit insurance has been the biggest waste of money.

So they fit kinda, the convertibles have a fitting issue due to the brace they need underneath to add structure due to the loss of it with not having a solid top. There’s a few vids on how to work around putting an exhaust on the convertible models

Manual calls for 12-15k and I did it right about there,on top of the many oil changes so move on with that bs

@@monochrome5.0 that’s what’s wrong with this new generation everyone wants to follow manufacturers guidelines. Oh you can now do 10k oil changes yeah no change oil every 3-4k miles and air filter every other oil change. Old school buddy don’t trust these manufacturers it’s all the same since back in the day

No you have to take it out 2 bolts and it’s out. 12:33 on the video is when I added a note about that 🤙🏽 get after and good luck… it’s pretty easy.

@aaronflores1262 yes I reused it and amd rode it for another 6k still no leaks even when I sold it at 25k miles

They were fine, someone online has the paper template to cut your rear end to fit the quad tips on a non active car. Other then that it fit pretty well. Borla states it doesn’t fit but that isn’t true it’s literally the same fit from 2015-17 and 2018-24 if you cut the rear valance I have a vid on it

Yup… it bolts the the main rear sets no the passenger like a lot of the exhaust on the market. I occasionally took the pegs off for the track and would through them on when taking a chick out.
