I never understood why they switched to making these digital. It’s all just plain sine waves. Nothing that analog oscillators can’t do just as well as digital.

There were a few other analog organs out by Roland (VK-1) and the Crumar Organizer but the Korg CX-3 was considered the best and most authentic by a long shot at the time. There's a famous Canadian band called Blue Rodeo that uses these.

That module and your playing are both really good! It's 2024 and I still have the Korg X5DR as well as Yamaha, Alesis and Emu modules.

Towards the end of last year I was outbid on a Korg 05/W but to be fair I let myself get outbit as it started at a low bid of about £20 and the final bid was £200. I'm still hoping to buy another one in the future but does the 01/W have any advantage over the 05R/W or do you think the sound quality is the same?
