You have to balance this comparison with the fact that the Samurai was one of the least expensive vehicles you could buy at the time. You got a lot of value for your money.
Will the bronco still be running in 38 years? Prob not. Suzuki wins.
Stupid comparison
Yugo vs Pacer would have been a better challenge.
Try the old Bronco and see if it doesn't take this whole video to hit that 60
Hardly a fair comparison. Add 1100lbs and take away 30 horses ,then compare
I agree new cars a junk but hardly a side by side comparison. This should be a classic mustang against a new one or Camaro.
Isn't this kinda like comparing apples to cornstalks?
Kinda random comparo, but still cool to watch and probably a lot cooler to do, so that's still cool.
You probably should have picked more apples to apples than oranges to apples
What kind of dumb ass comparison was this😂😂😂😂
Comparing old to new doesn't always work out. The iconic '76 Firebird from Smokey and the Bandit - 0-60 in 9.1 with a 17.1 qtr mile. My '06 Honda Element - 0-60 in 9.5 with a 17.3 qtr mile, and its basically a brick on wheels.
Comparing apples to bowling balls…. In your next video, compare a hang glider to a fighter jet… should be a winner.
Stupid
What app is that
He even short shifted the 442.
Try it again with equal displacement
Lowest model vs top model… are people really this dumb?! 😂 Also the new jeeps (I mean Broncos) look like trash 😢
New model are getting more cheaper in plastic,, and smaller motors ,, sucks
You pick a new model with less horsepower and over 1000 lbs heavier? Not the best comparison.
Especially when the bronco and the car are geared differet for different things too.
New car's are junk
American cars cant beat japnese cars ,not even in their dreams
I have the B&M Billet short shifter in my bronco, super recommend if you appreciate a good shift feel. Brings it up higher and shortens the throws beyond stock even with the added height, the install does involve taking apart the original shifter frame but I have no regrets!
but holy mole that heritage edition is ugly
Bro! Love both!

fire video
Lol no contest the samurai will outperform the new bronco off road with ease 😅 the Samurai holds records for a reason, the bronco doesn't.
laughed out loud at the door chime test
The samurai cannot be bet in the smiles per dollar category.
Which one is more manly? I bought my wife a 2023 2 door Bronco Sasquatch V6 in chili pepper red because she thought it looked retro cute, like the new Fiat 500 or the mini...
Sick vid man!
My first new car.
Really nice car!
My cousin has a 66' 442 post sedan with a bench front seat, with a notch cut out and a 4 speed muncie
My dad had a ‘67 442. It was his favorite car he owned. He compared all cars to it!
I'm glad you made this video. Also glad you drive it and not just own a garage queen!!!
Anyone have a 400 engine or parts and interested in trade or sell
Sold!
Rad car.. my birth year too. I gots a '64 F85 w/ a '66 Toronado 425ci just getting her back together after a long sleep and sum fresh paint. Can't wait to hug those curves. Love the '66 4-4-2 dude. Nice views in yer country side too.
This vehicle is not for Highway speed, But its a brilliant off roading vehicle, Very capable, I have one, It has never let me down, Loving it.
NICE 1!
Drove one daily for 20 years. That poor car went to hell and back. Drove the shit out of that poor thing. It went places that still amaze me. Drove it allover baja. Bumpy ride and slow as hell but was a great car.
I totally agree, Out of the 4 GM divisions, the Olds and specially the 442 was smoother driving, rode better and handled better....I had a 64 SS and a 65 442 and it was like night and day....
I remember when these cars came out, it was never one of my favorites. In 66' I was more into Chevies and Fords though still not of driving age. I didn't take notice of the 442 until the 68' with the new body style.
Very nice love 442s
One of the best 4*4 ever made by suzuki now the jimny 2020 is the modern samurai
that intro was actually really good, on queue the camera showed the car. amazing!
