Hey since this video comes up when searching about attack speed, I wanted to point out some new interactions in the major 3.0+ updates. The Attack Speed Sprint head essence doesn't show on your character sheet nor does it apply a buff stating you are receiving speed from Sprint. But it DOES stack with vithus 4pc and Ardent Fervor lacerate attack speed essence. I was able to clearly see a difference with both up but it feels like there is some diminishing returns.

Evidence that Blizzard doesn't have regulars that play the game.

.....also you can time attack speed essnce buffs during your vithu cool down (meaning your cool on the skills that proc it) so you stay at a sustained increase

they dont stack with vithu but runes do btw just so ya'll know. and so does Vexed Curse 4 and 6 piece

you should use a stopwatch ..your sense of time is not good

I don't think the angmet works well with Necro but it's dropped in inf 5 you do the math?

As for the damage part a couple of points i noticed looking at your numbers btw Set bonus stack additively with one another Essence buffs seem to stack additively with one another as well (there's a % error but very little so high confidence) Legendary gems seem to be considered each a category of their own so every gem gives a buff and they all stack multiplicatively Different categories (essences, sets, each different gem) multiply each other

Im loooking back to this gem now that new WW on barb has no energy consume anymore. Does this stack to vithus?

Wait, doesnt a wb room remnant also increase attack speed? Attacker, curb of bit haste, 1%, white, so you can (if you're lucky) stack 3 for a total of 3%.

Ty for the video. It’s (important) news to me that attack speed essences don’t stack with 4 vithus! As for testing total attack speed, others have done so by importing audio recordings of primary attacking into some audio software that measures bpm.

Hey, there's a combo I found a while back that's more for fun than actually super viable (it is in some game modes though).... It's for movement not attack, but I love your videos and the style and precision of the information in them so I thought you may find this fun. Routefinder shoulders Juggernaut legs Basic Wrath 4pc Vithus Hit Wrath then Sprint and it's the fastest mobility in the game. I also use the Sprint duration helm so it goes longer. Combined with Leap since it's animation is affected by the Wrath and Vithus speed, it's an indirect way to move MUCH faster also. I actually can't record it because it lags when I try to see how fast I can get from training dummies to blacksmith, but its something like 7 seconds to travel that. If I didn't lag or get snagged on anything it would be like 5 seconds lol. Just Sprint alone it's closer to 12 seconds. That's a pretty big difference. Sorry for the off topic-ness :)

Hi thx for the insightful video! Wasn’t the 2% from the berserker gem? As well i have tested Shephard and BoE together and those stacks together with M lament. My one curiousity is comparing remnant set bonuses- is manifest carnage more powerful vs collar of brutus? Where one is 10% crit dmg above 70% crit chance and the other is flat 10% dmg

there is another weird crit thing i noticed on barb with the essence that makes Wrath of Berserker give 50% crit. i tried with 10% and 20% crit from gear. everytime i activate Wrath my crit goes to 55.5 % which i assumed was internal cap for crit. but probably isnt and there is some weird interaction happening with mothers lament. when i did those tests Mothers was not in the game yet

Don't more towers, regardless of whether you "need" them or not, kill more mobs? Is there a fixed number of mobs every time and that's why it doesn't matter? The wording of the event says you get more rewards the more you kill, so I figured there was a kind of DPS element to the event in addition to guarding your base health. Is that incorrect and only thing that matters is 100% health at the end? Or is is possible to kill more monsters possibly with a different tower setup for better rewards? Hopefully my question makes sense. Thank you for this video.

I think the remaining crit is from gloom It gives Less crit the higher your crit chance

just use all boltcasters and call it a day. easy.

I’ll just say that our strategies have similarities and differences, but it was good to hear your reasoning for tower types and placement.

First of all, thank you for the shoutout, but I do want to correct/add one point I consider significant: though it may be technically true that there’s no cap for movement speed buffs themselves (ie they *can* provide their full value), there *is* a hard cap of 70% combined movement speed. So eg if you’re a barb, you need to cap your passive at 20% to cap speed at 70% with sprint, but as a crusader, you only need 10% passive to hit the hard cap while mounted. Passive above 10% won’t make you any faster as a crusader on horseback, but of course it will make you faster while not mounted. Secondly, it’s great to see so much testing of both damage and crit buffs. Apart from the crit stacking mystery at the end, this is consistent with Auroth’s claims, but I really appreciate seeing it confirmed with carefully controlled tests. Thirdly, what about “armor break” effects? Bk’s have 3. From my quick testing that was not nearly so controlled, teeming grotto did not seem to stack with soul censer. And testing stacking with the mastermind 20% may require an actual boss (along with 3 willing friends of different classes), so that would definitely be a high effort test lol. Cheers!

Maybe the reason why lament stacks with banquet is because banquet is not a buff. Maybe crits which can trigger BOH or as a buff do not stack.
