What's up guys! I also have another channel with LesstalkinMOhuntin. We post pretty good hunting videos on there. I brached off from there to make just trapping videos and ice fishing videos, but if you guys want great turkey hunts and deer videos to watch go check them out. Trapper J talked me into making my own trapping videos, so here I am guys and thanks for watching my videos. #trapperj #lesstalkinmohuntin #duketraps #trapperjallpredator #hookeduponice #tungtonslures #trappedup #cable-restraint #coyotes #raccoons #bobcats #muskrat #beaver #crappies #slabs #bridger #dogproof #dp

Wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas!!
@@oneshotme right back at you.
Good luck on your new sets!! I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
He, he's got his buddy back
Good looking sets! Thats cool how your dogs knew the beaver were in that lodge! Thank you for sharing and Good luck with everything my friend!
Good video , but ya could shorten up the intro a bit Sir. That intro is just to darn long .
@@heathboeddeker5401 I need to make a new intro for sure, that ones like 2 years old. Thanks for watching buddy
You should replace the chain with 6 ft of cable. Helps alot
@@danielmastin3606 yes I really need to
Thanks for the early video. I need to be trapping them in my creek if I could get up off my lazy ass.
Great job my friend! Thank you for sharing!
I'm sure there is a lot more poop there in the middle of coyote(prairie wolf), HEAVEN! I watched 30 of them get into it once over territory.
great to see the kids out with you. Awesome work
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ontop of every qt before you give lid the final crank keeps food poisoning out.
That is exactly what you want. About 3 feet off a coon trail on the up wind side. Its multi specie set ,cause everything uses that game trail. Stanky beaver? I'm pretty sure I know her.
A few more years and your son can set the traps and you can set back and give him tips on what to do. Start them young. Good job dad.
Your a very patiant dad
@@Sean-q5z idk about that lol
I'll take a very possible & intelligent whack at the coyote foot left behind. Most species do not chew through leg bone, they twist & break that or a joint then chew & pull through the tissues. Swivels which I see you use(i use 2) stops that. Coyotes fight for territory and the chain of command all their lives. Anything in a trap maybe considered dinner, round here they do that to 1/2 every & anything you catch. The good news is it was dead or almost when they chewed & ripped its foot off for it then drug it off to eat every scrap. That is a sign there are more coyote there than anyone thinks, black bears around here are capable of scavenging sets too. Sometime you find about 1/4 of the animal still in the trap, literally rip a shoulder or hip right off it & left that ,"IF YOU GOT THERE SOON ENOUGH!"
@@MarkTheo-w1z these are times I wish I had cell cameras on every set so you could go right out there as soon as a critter is in your trap. Lol
@@trappedupoutdoors2409 that's awfully expensive when the prices are so down. What I found to help was checking traps twice per day instead of once & toting a .22 rifle & small game license instead of pistol & just trapping them. 100 yrds was very doable though you seldom retrieved it except on a head shot. $5 average then for eastern coyote, "no big loss!" But it thins them out! Around here they will steal the camera too?
@@MarkTheo-w1z I could afford to run cell cameras over my sets, but we don’t have much trouble with people stealing around here yet.
Your probably not going to like what you see if you do get to record it. They are actually wolves, not coyotes (tech no such thing as coyote) eastern brush wolves & your were called prairie wolves by old time fur buyers. Coyote is spanish, means desert fox. They are not fox, trust me, they are wolf hybrids & just as vicious & violent & are most certainly pack animals as all wolves are. Lot of misinformation out there. They hunt in packs, family units & small groups They also defend territory ,breeding & hunting grounds in pack or family unit formation. Should you catch 1 & another & diffent family unit find it,your not going to like what you see. Same for any other animal they find trapped, they never pass on a free easy meal. Think mercyless cannibal ,often dont even kill it,just rip it apart & eat it till it dies. Kind of like sharks, even fight over it among their selves . I eye witnessed 2 or more large coyote packs silently in the bright august moon light from 150 yrds away near the dry cimarron river in N.E. New Mexico in 1982 on a ranch I worked on. About 30 dogs in the moon light spread over a 1/4 square mile on the super short hard grazed cattle prairie, you could see every stone sticking up. I snuck out of the house with the winchester model 94 30/30 when I heard the noise, sounded like 1000 of them, but just 30 or so. I watched the fight go ugly & a number get killed & lay on the ground. I told the owner who showed in the morning & we drove out there & even the couple I shot were completely gone, eaten ,not a bone left, just some hair & blood.
@@trappedupoutdoors2409 you wont like what you see if you get to record it. If a different family unit or pack finds the 1 you caught & it cant escape or defend well. Its over, its brutal & merciless
Missouri?! I’ve been trapping around Smithville Lake
@@huntinfishinwithDwayne heck yeah man good work and keep it up
Caught my 2nd yote this morning 🤙
Great looking set/remake my friend! Congrats on the badger!
@@MarkJLarsonOutdoors thanks buddy
Nice Job brother!! That should catch a yote!
If its lower than 32 and you're not using waxed dirt, you're asking for problems.
@@jackwages1596 it about the perfect temps right now, close to freezing but not quite, I try waiting until it’s going to freeze every night before using wax dirt. Shit cost to much in my opinion
Where did you get 47pounds of tannerite for 100.oo dollars?
@@Dan_Soundgar well you can’t anymore, it’s about 150 now outlaw x
I made an order from him yesterday, so you had good experiences doing business there?
@ yes I have for sure. I’ve ordered a few different times there
That is good to hear, I have 26.00 dollars out on five pounds of fertilizer.
Great job my friend!! Very good looking sets! I've never even had a first night catch! Thank you for sharing!
Great job on the digger! Been very slow for me too! Keep after it brother! Good luck with everything!
@@MarkJLarsonOutdoors right back at you buddy
I've always cringed when you use single rebar. 😂 I've had them pull cross stake rebar and finally went to earth anchors. A lot less to carry when ya walk for sure.
@@ALs-Outdoors everyone always says that and I’ve only had one ever pull out and it was a cable, and only reason it pulled out was because of the soft dirt. All our ground around here so pretty hard.
@trappedupoutdoors2409 I lost 2 coyotes and that was enough for me. I walk my line a lot and it's real nice not carrying rebar on my back.😂
@@ALs-Outdoors yeah carrying rebar a long ways wouldn’t be fun at all.
@trappedupoutdoors2409 J says I'm crazy walking so far. 😂
You’re a touch man then me for sure lol
Let’s gooo Damond! Hope you kill that buck buddy!! That’s wild ya got one middle of day. Thanks again for the shirt!
Good luck on the deer hunt
What makes every child smile? Wild black raspberry! Hell yes i garden. Plant shit & hone.
Stanky beaver, im pretty sure i know her from from heaven
@@MarkTheo-w1z lol
Sudden wave of T.S. Stanky beaver. U Know her 2?
So like what is the difference between Stanky Beaver & Fur Down. I like the Stanky Beaver, but I've not bought the other yet.
@@hilljackoutdoors2808 fur down had more sent to target cats. Stanky beaver has more of a skunk smell then fur down.
@@trappedupoutdoors2409OK thanks. I'll keep that in mind if I need to order more for next season.
Only danger I see with that rebar stake is they could possibly get on the log and use that leverage to pull it out. Other then that real good looking sets! Good luck!
Nice job Brother!! Keep up the good work! Enjoy your videos!
That quail looked tasty....😊
@@jfakoggl 🤣
Try double staking. You have to change the end on your trap to handle it. Than use 3/8's rebar 16 inches long. You cross stake it and you won't pull it. I use this on all my MB 550's and have never lost a trap using it. Plus weight wise it lighter than 1/2 inch even using 2 pieces.
@@RandyM-h5m I’ve done that before and for sure works. Thanks
A single rebar stake on a short chain? You dont have em pump those out? I have had coyotes pump out a cross staked trap 6 inches
