I'm facing that upgrade x Mark issue in my gimbal if anyone one knows how to solve it please let me know
Although I do not own a Crane 3S but the Weebill S Your explanation on the image transmitter unit made a whole lot of sense just by you resolved an important issue that all the others never mention. You resolved in less than 15 seconds thanks.
I like the product.
link not working
I cannot connect my bmpcc 6k pro to my crane 3s. Do you have any advice?
Do you have to do this every time you remove the camera for stills. Say at a wedding using the same camera will you have to balance everything again to begin shooting the video. just thinking about preparation time
Epic
Excellent
There are a few issues I have with this test. "Lens 2" seems consistently overexposed, except in the last shot, where the face is brighter, but the jacket looks darker than "Lens 1". Were these shot on different cameras and/or using different codecs or gamma settings (in which case we are comparing apples to oranges...)? In the first shot, "Lens 2" is so badly out of focus (blurry) across the board that I'm wondering if this is a different resolution than "Lens 1". If either Sigma or Arri Master Prime were so blurry, no one would use them. Again, this points to a flawed test, unfortunately. I suspect that Sigma is lens 1 and lens 2 is the Master Prime, but shot with a bias towards making lens 2 look bad. You just have to look at some footage that Deakins shot on the Master Primes to know that they outperform this test footage by miles. Some comments here miss the point about "cine primes" vs. "photo primes". The main difference is that photo primes are designed for autofocus and cine primes are designed for manual focus (in the case of Canon CN-Es, Zeiss CPs and Sigma FFs that is literally the entire difference). Cine primes are also usually designed to be used 12 hours a day, every day, only the top of the line photo primes are designed to perform like that. There is more attention to breathing and vignetting in the design of cine lenses, but that's not always a top priority. Traditionally, most cine lenses were designed for a much smaller image circle because a 35mm film camera had a negative size akin to APS-C, whereas photo lenses were mostly designed for 24x36mm still camera film. The huge price difference between photo and cine lenses comes mostly from economies of scale, btw.
Expectation vs Reality! 🤣🤣🤣
lens nr. 2 is the sigma, arri master primes are known for their neutral round bokeh balls and minimal chromatic aberration. so lens 1 is the arri master primes
where is your bag from?
Best choice to put quality on 1080p
When you took the lens of the fx6 it was giving me anxiety!
So, a review of a cinema camera made by someone saying that cinema lenses slow him down... uhmm.. ahah shouldn't it be the contrary? Photo lenses don't have hard stops so calibrating motors is slower, usually have iris control through the camera, instead than directly on the lens, and they aren't parfocal, meaning that you can't use a lens mapping on the wireless focus because it will be different for each focal lenght, without mentioning less secure mounts. What has the DZO lens more than that beautiful Angenieux EZ zoom that you showed?? Boh. And let's remember, DSMC3 is the first generation of Red cameras that doesn't need too much "calibration" to go from indoor to outdoor hoping it won't overheat and stop working like the DSMC2 were doing. Mhh.. I will never understand Red fans. Regarding frying the SDI ports, it's always valid the golden rule: first connect power cables, and then sdi cables. When you need to switch battery or anyway disconnect the battery, first disconnect the sdi cable and then disconnect the battery. Never connect or disconnect batteries or power cables when SDI is connected.
Everyone is complaining about this comparison but I actually appreciate this. I’ve been thinking about getting a cinelens but now I see, in a non professional setting, it doesn’t make much of a difference. Cinelenses thrive in a well lit controlled environment.
I have an FX6 and all the menu says when connected to the gimbal is USB Connecting I cannot get past that screen any ideas?
Too many cables - too much to snag and pull out your hand - this is 2024, what happened to ingenuity? You gave plenty of space inside a hollow device. Use it.
@ 3:41 the Komodo footage shows A LOT of IR Pollution. Notice how the black shirt turns Brownish/red. Also the greens turn yellowish. Certainly not the actual RED color science. You are looking at a contaminated version of the RED color science. You need to use an ND with IR CUT. =)
thank you so mach for video. It was interesting
Mine won't spin in Vortex mode (with my Fuji XH-2s).
no file
Zoom is the differece
Where’s your bag from
Bro I used to watch in on Douyin all the time!
This video is no good and not helpful at all. You show us what you can do. You don’t show us how to do it. I’ve been trying to program this thing for over 5yrs and can not get it right at all. Please show us How to do it with the settings and programming.
Is there a way to change the language to English in the app?
Great video really helpful! I’d like to know where your bag is from so I can get one!
Great tutorial! Do you know how I could achieve a portrait mode, record 9:16 to use on tik tok? Greetings and thanks!
It don't have portrait mode.
In Berlin
Does the joystick has a control of start stop of video operations of canon 5d mk4 camera ?
is there a start stop video function button on the gimbal joystick ?
There is so much wrong advice in the beginning of this video. I don't know where to beging. You should be encouraging people. To rent out the finest system that they can afford to. Regardless of its intended application. This way the first time users as well as the moderate level experienced video producers. Will experience a lot of very positive experiences with it. Leaving them experiencing a lot of positive rewards.
Anyone know what cup holders he uses?
I really liked this BTS! You should have a lot of views Marcel! I love your content 🔥🔥
good
I couldn't find the trans mount for the crane 2s :/ I guess they don't sell it anymore. Any answers where I can buy this?
I have a question. I bought the pro kit and the regular kit. The pro was 799.00 on sale the regular kit was 529.00 on sale. Not sure if I will ever use the accessories with the pro kit. Do you think I should keep the pro kit just in case I upgrade my cameras that can use the pro kit or keep the regular kit, it's only $270.00 more than the regular kit. I did set up the gimble from the pro kit and it was so easy and works amazing, but not sure which one to keep
Hey man, do you know if de cmf06 is conpatible with the crane 3s?
yes
I wish I knew about these techniques. This video is 3 years old from my comment and it’s still relevant. This insight is applicable to just about any camera you put on the crane 3s and it’s still a great gimbal
Hi I have a zhiyun crane 2 which only has L, F and PF mode, I tried connecting to the app but it doesn’t seem to be able to update firmware and I want the POV mode to be available. Can anyone advise how I do that? I need to do a rotating shot 😢
How to have the Red camera or how can I get it Only Mozambican and only a video producer so I would like to know how to get the camera
The cart shown seems to be a product from DigitalFoto Solution Limited ... from what we could find, it might be an MCS-S-10 Cinemech Medium Video Production Camera Cart (available on B&H with product number BH #DIMCSS10 • MFR #MCS-S-10). This one measures 36.2 x 29.5 x 19.7" with 10" wheels and collapses/folds to 7.8" thick (load Capacity 992 lb).
I can't figure out what I need for the Sony FS5? I'm assuming a Lanc to USB c?
Update on this: I bought a Lanc to USB c cable (55 euro?!) and it doesn't work for some reason...
Cool man thanks!! I just got mine today. The combo 2s for $200 🤫. Don't know what to do with it but I'm sure going to do some dumb shhh. I appreciate the tutorial.
where is the dislike button !!???
I hope you can help! I have a Sony FS5 that I wanna setup on my Crane 3S but I don't know how I can get the camera control to work
Does this work for all cameras?
No, you can check crane 3s compatibility list on their official website
Awesome video man! Is insta360 also considering bringing out the Lensprotection Caps in ND Filter Versions? Not necessarily for Video but HDRI generation in bright sunlight? ;-)
unfortunately no ND’s yet😂
