Gluten-Free Fudgy Brownies (Dairy Free)
Recipe: thefrayedapron.com/gluten-free-brownies/
These modestly sweet brownies are fudgy and decadent, yet contain loads of wholesome ingredients for quality you can taste. Let me tell you about the premium ingredients: There's melted and chopped dark chocolate, high quality fats (egg yolk, coconut oil, and ground flax), even unrefined coconut sugar!
While you could mix these by hand, you should get out the stand mixer. Following the recommended mixing times and steps will ensure that these delicate brownies hold together and set properly.

Gluten Free Mini Pizzas
มุมมอง 492 หลายเดือนก่อน
RECIPE: thefrayedapron.com/gluten-free-mini-pizzas/ If you don’t already know, gluten-free pizza “dough” has a spreadable consistency (think: batter) and is unlike wheat pizza dough in that regard. What I LOVE about this recipe is that it requires yeast, so it will remind you of regular pizza dough. For best results, I recommend a few fundamentals: keep the crust ultra thin, top sparsely, and c...
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Citrus Miso Glaze
มุมมอง 1657 หลายเดือนก่อน
Recipe: thefrayedapron.com/roasted-brussels-sprouts I'm firmly in the camp that we underestimate the value of bitter greens. Take these Brussels sprouts. On their own, they're bitter and slightly spicy. When roasted? These become caramelized, less bitter, and pair spectacularly with this citrus-based sauce. You get umami, floral, and mustard flavors from this dish that leaves your taste buds wa...

Cucumber Tuna Avocado Rolls

Recipe: thefrayedapron.com/recipe_posts/cucumber-tuna-avocado-rolls/ Fresh tuna served rare is paired with everything it needs: salt, fat, heat, and acid. These fresh little bites can be served a number of ways as an appetizer or light lunch: as sushi rolls, in a salad bowl, on top of cucumber coins (thickly sliced cucumber), or stuffed inside of cucumber. The sky is the limit and what really m...

Perfect ❤
I made them and loved them
So what's the difference of the slice and the rondelle cut
@@msaia a rondelle is a slice that looks like a coin and you’ll often hear people say “slice into rounds” or “slice into diagonals)
Looks Beautiful Tasty 😋 I know ❤❤❤❤
six pounds of apples is not a small batch.
Yummm yes please!!
One question. How do you cut the carrot without chasing pieces all over the kitchen?
@@TheDjordjeSS stand right in front of your cutting board to block them from falling between you and the counter. Use an extra large cutting board and a sharp knife. Sometimes they go flying and it’s something you can feel with how much pressure you are using with your hand. Try cutting slower with more control. Focus on fundamentals.
Exactly what I was looking for💯
I've always used the diagonal cut (my dad must have taught me that) because the carrots don't roll away onto the counter or floor. :) However, I needed to learn more cuts, these cuts, for different dishes. The roll cut is new to me, other than when I did it by accident! I will try this one next time I am roasting!
I am extremely grateful for this recepy. I’m on day 15th of the AIP and it’s been hard the last few days because I started craving chocolate… And when I first tasted this cream after I mixed I literally cried because it was sooo good and I felt so like home after these 15 days. We don’t realize how sentimentally connected we are to some foods until we have something similar again… ❤ thanks!
AIP is so freaking hard! Mariana, you are awesome. I would love to stay in touch with you to keep sharing helpful recipes that are AIP delicious. I’m developing an entire site for AIP so if you follow me on instagram @thefrayedapron I’ll be sure to announce it soon! @@thefrayedapron1542 I just saw this message!! Thanks :D I'd love to know so I followed you on Instagram. Best wishes of success!!
Man i really hope this works out
What kind of knfe is that? When I slice carrots half of them fly across the room.
you probably need to sharpen your knife and get a bigger cutting board. It's a high carbon, stainless steel chef's knife. It's German and affordable. Definitely come to my blog and subscribe to my email list and I'll send you a full list of what you need. Here's the affiliate link: amzn.to/44mSwgv

Good
You did a good job
Don't you wash your meat thats dirty
Washing does nothing. It’s cooking that kills bacteria
Isn't this just vinaigrette?
Why yes, it sure is! I think it's pretty special though because the garlic acts as a binder and makes it nice and emulsified.

Gotta try this
Thank you for not adding sugar
I’m amazed that there is no proofing
You are proofing the yeast in a warm milk mixture (see step 1) of my recipe: thefrayedapron.com/long-john-donuts/ *note you could sub in instant yeast to speed up the rise time by about 20 minutes (step 2)
It’s a great recipe, except for the canola oil.
You can use another high heat oil. Refined coconut oil is my personal favorite.
Yes! Roll cut is my preference. Yours is the first video that shows it. I like that the pieces tumble around and don’t stick together. Plus, as you say, there’s lots of surface area. A good cut for zucchini.
Shouldn't waste so much of the stem.
Followed you recipe step by step and it turned out…bad! First of, there’s way too much lemon! The sourness is overwhelming and it kills all other tastes. Not even garlic could cut through it. Hence the quantity of the lemon juice should be halved. Secondly, two cloves of garlic is not enough! Double or triple it to get at least a hint of flavour. Thirdly the sauce is too runny. Like water. Not good. And finally, one should add a bit of sugar to balance out the taste. Verdict: this recipe is not nice at all!
Did you taste it by itself or on a leaf/vegetable/pasta/meat?
I use this ratio all the time and make it fresh. 2 cloves of freshly minced garlic, juice of 1 lemon, and 4 tbsp of oil of choice❤😁
This is a great recipe but i doubled thr amount of maple syrup and extract in the glaze other than that this is amazing
Did your glaze still set with these liquid changes or did you have to increase the powdered sugar?
The roll cut is pretty. I tried it before finding your video, and my cuts weren't uniform. Ah ha! A quarter turn--that's the secret. Something so simple but worth looking up on TH-cam. Thanks for posting.
What to do if the doo doesn't rise
Double check your yeast. What does the label say? My guess is that you need to move the dough to a warm place and if you used the wrong yeast, it might take longer to activate (like 3 hours). It's also possible the yeast is bad but not likely.
5th would be dicing the matchsticks somehow?
correct. If you cut the matchsticks into little squares, that's called a brunoise cut which is 1/8"x1/8"
Thanks forgot hot to do match sticks
This is the BEST maple glaze recipe I’ve found and I searched for hours! It’s simple, to the point, and most like the glaze you find in the store bought doughnuts but obviously with the homemade taste! Thank you so much for sharing with us! ❤️
Thank you for this recipe. I've just defrosted a whole rib from our home butchered lamb now I know how to cook it. Thanks again and have a great day.
