Staggering the enemy and immobilize helps in terms of them standing there to let you pound on him. You also might grind some levels to get ahead. Maybe a mod? I'm playing on PlayStation so my only option for easy mode is new game + lol. Good luck 👍

@@cameronhetzler5407 no judgements hear. I've played Sekiro but I don't think I've ever beat it and I've heard bloodborne was really good but never really played it. For sure, games are meant to be enjoyed so It's good to hear you have some great titles to get back into.

Elden ring is easy compared to this.

@@rodscomfortblecreations8544 It would be hard to say why that is. Some Bosses do seem to be a bit less or more aggressive depending on how close or far you are to them and what options they have to attack within those ranges. In terms of stagger and the white tiger, It seems like he does deal good stagger but he is one of the slower transformations so it can be harder to play. A lot of people seem to prefer the Red tides transformation. Also someone else pointed out thrust stance is really good during the opening of the fight, you might try to poke him from afar for the first part of the fight, then cloud step I to pluck of many and the staff guy mid fight. Good luck with him.

Nice. It definitely took me more than two trys to figure out what worked for me. I had a feeling while reviewing the footage that thrust stance would be useful against him. I'm glad to get confirmation on that. I may try that for the first half of the fight in NG+.

Every time I try these methods this dude hunts me down like he's insane...he doesn't stop going at me....ever.

He is a pretty aggressive boss. I think my best tips for when you're feeling pressured would be to save your immobilize and cloud step spell and use them defensively and then make sure you have the Weaver's vessel equipped because that can stagger him. You might also check your celestial pills with your dog and maybe respec those a little bit more into HP mana and defense​@@thecrowfliescrooked

@@rodscomfortblecreations8544 I think a lot of these guys make these videos before a couple patches have been put down. Because half the time I don't have the same encounters at all like they do in the video.

The name of the vessel is called the Weaver's Needle and is unlocked a little further into chapter 4, but will not lock you out of the boss fight with yellow Long.

Hope my build and guide gets you through it. Since you have extra points I would recommend using the 24 point base, then specking into transformation attack, defense and crit chance. Maybe another point or so in transformation might if you are having issues getting the ultimate off twice. Good luck.

It took me probably a dozen or so until I realized how much damage that fire attack did. After that he went down pretty easy. You only fail when you quit. You'll get him eventually. if not today maybe tomorrow.

@@setva6948 How difficult is he in comparison to bosses later in the game? I’ll use your guide, and maybe just get to level 100 (I’m use to killing the enemies before him) so that gives me a better chance. I get him about half way in the second form then he beats me. I’ve never fought a boss this hard before. Maybe I just suck too lol. Which is why I figure I guess Ill just keep leveling up lol

@@themcadamsminute8494 I'm on chapter 4 and there have only been 3-4 other bosses that took me more than 3 tries and several were on the first try.

My prep tips: Switch audio down or off (audio creates tension) Don't hit him, spend 12-15 minutes just evading his moves, once moves locked in, beat him and move to 2nd phase, repeat the process from phase 1. Approach tips 1. Right at the start dodge into him, you should end up behind him, headbutt him with the wight skill 2. Keep your distance, at the 1st available opportunity, immobilize, get a full light attack in then back off 3. Switch to the moon roam spell and do as much damage as you can, heavy attack is much more affective here as it teleports you through him each time. 4. Once Immobilize & moon roam have been used, you are now playing a waiting game for them to be reactivated, keep your distance and DON'T use heavy attacks as they trigger immediate responses, some times he will walk around the pond as if he's on vacation, let him, more time for us. 5. Once Immobilize becomes available use straight away, if you can keep moon roam as your last chance saloon card as it gives you a short window of health / time, use it wisely. GOOD LUCK.

It has to be some kind of proximity glitch because she would respawn every time I got close to loot her. It may be worth a try to kite her as far away from the door as possible before landing the killing blow, do so with a range attack and make a bee line to the door. The loot she drops should be able to then be picked up at the lost loot box at the forge. Hope this helps.

iirc, the way pouches unlock is by picking up the item that goes into it. For the resource pouch, try gathering from plants and animals. The first mission should unlock the pouch as it has you gather some resources, so it may also be a bug. I'm not sure how far into the game you are, but that pouch has 3 upgrades, so it may be that the pouch is fully upgraded and greyed out, making it easier to overlook. These are just the things that come to mind off the top of my head from back when I did my playthrough. I hope it helps.

Dont forget ALL the ingredients can be purchased from the potion vendor in Thornmarsh for between 100 and 250 shards, depending on rarity.

@@ChiChaRonn77 I was about 3/4 done on the pouches, but it was driving me nuts. After spending 30 minutes swimming after fish and getting the wrong parts, I thought to hell with this and dropped about 5000 shards on maxing out all of them at the merchant. It was expensive, but so worth it.

Things were more simple in HZD.

iirc it is the Skellige gambeson. I believe it can be purchased in White Orchard, so you might check the merchants there.

@@setva6948 yeah I've done that but for some reason it's always green when equipped. Must be a bug

@@Apollo890 it's very possible lol. This video was taken on the day one patch for PS4 consoles. With all the updates it's very possible a color change occurred. I'll definitely be looking out for it next time I decide to do another play through though.

@@kiritoxyronie2841 haha, what can I say? I'm a lurker. Every now and again I get the itch to post new stuff but it's hard to find time to do it regularly.

I also forgot to mention, for the fish you will want to do the Poseidon quest first. Also, An alternative method is to create a job to find the parts from the work bench, which works very well for the lower level upgrades, but becomes less useful as the all the different pouch types become available.

@@setva6948 It can get expensive (between 100 and 250 shards per item, depending on rarity), but it saves a ton of time. I got about 3/4 of my stuff from hunting in the wild, but if I just needed 1 of something to complete a pouch and it was a rare drop, I'd just buy it. Way easier than chasing fish in the sea. Eventually, I dropped about 5000 shards in one go just to finish em all to fully upgraded. Bit spendy but saved me hours and hours of tedious animal hunting.
